Just a heads up for those of you who have yet to play it on the Wii, the game is absolutely sick. I'm actually feeling a cough coming on so I can skip out of here at lunch and play the entire weekend.

That motion control addition really works well. The slightest twist of the wrist and you pay for it.

That's what I've been reading. Previously I had ZERO interest of ever playing a sports game on the Wii (minus Wii Sports) but I have seen nothing but glowing reviews for this game. My buddy picked it up today and is going to give me his impressions later. I'll probably pick it up tomorrow.

I'm just hyped to be able to play him online. I'm glad they used the EA online service so you don't have to use stupid friend codes. Plus frisbee/disc golf should be a blast!

Yep, and the Wii motion is sweet. I am a pretty decent golfer (12) and the mechanics feel pretty damn near real. It is just a lot of fun working your shots....but the putting is really tough, that needs some getting used to.

True, but that's basically what makes the game the superior version apparently. I assumed everyone knew that.
