    Ishikawa's 3 RBI's Defeats Brewers 5 to 4

Dallas McPherson rounds the bases in style after his 353 foot homer.

Milwaukee, WI - The Giants won by 1 for the second straight game. Tim Linecum was on the mound against Yovani Gallardo. Linecum did not pitch efficiently in his first start against the Dodgers, as he allowed 7 runs over 6 innings and only struck out 1. This start against the Brewers was not that great, but it was a better start than against the Dodgers. Linecum went 7, while allowing 11 hits, 4 runs, and striking out 7.

Linecum got run support in this game. In the 2nd inning, Travis Ishikawa led off with his 2nd homer of the year. The Brewers came back with a run of their own in the 2nd, as J.J. Hardy homered. The Brewers also got a run in the 3rd off of an RBI single by J.J. Hardy. The Giants got 2 runs each in the 5th and the 6th. Travis Ishikawa singled home two runs in the 5th. In the 6th, Aaron Rowand and Dallas McPherson hit two solo homers to put the Giants up 5 to 2. The Brewers nearly came back, as they scored two runs in the 7th inning. Pinch Hitter Craig Counsell doubled home Jason Kendall; Ryan Braun later singled home Counsell. The Brewers made the score 5-4, but were unable to score a run after that. The Giants won the game, as Brian Wilson picked up his 3rd save in 3 chances.

Thanks. This win could mean that I am breaking out of my hitting slump, but I'm not sure yet. It could also mean that I am very inconsistent at scoring runs. We shall find out.

Thanks a lot. It was very scary. There were two outs, so it was crazy. I turned off the crowd in that particular game, so I could get more frames per second.

He did decent. Lol. Correia took a shot to the head and suffered a concussion and that's why he only pitched for a really short amount of time.
