NBA Franchise of the Year: Passion. Pride. Pacers.
It really was tough. I couldn't get any stops early on it felt like. Marion and Beasley would blow by Wilcox and Kaman it seemed like. Not to mention Marion is a rediculously good defender and picked off a lot of my stuff. Granger had a decent game but he has to be AWESOME for me to win. Only game 1 though. I see the changes I need to make and what I could do better. Brandon Rush also struggled bigtime off the bench. Went like 1-6. Was very happy with Wally's performance this game. He sparked a run in the 3rd that I thought was going to get me back into it but they managed to stop the bleeding.

So far predictions on course. Warriors best team in the game. Nice detail. If only i had the time it seems you do.. Dammit.
Took me maybe 15 mins to do that around the league score setup. Only took that long because it was the first time though and having to set it up the way I'd like to. It'll be quicker from here on out. My gf wasn't happy I started playing lastnight though lol. She was looking forward to having a "lay in bed and watch tv together" night. But I was already in the 2nd quarter when she got out of the shower and wasn't about to turn it off. ahaha.

Quote Of The Game:
"We were fighting an uphill battle all game. We had so many opportunities down the stretch to take the lead but ended up turning the ball over, or missing open shots. We didn't let go of that rope though. We finally took the lead late in the 4th quarter and I got some big shots to fall and we were able to hold on to win."

Paul Pierce went down in the Celtics Game 2 Loss to the Sixers last night with a separated shoulder. We don't think there will be any "faking of any injuries" this year though. There was no triumphant return and Pierce is expected be out for 21 days. With the Celtics down 0-2 after losing both home games to the Sixers, it will be up to Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and the rest of the Celtics to try to get themselves back into that series.
With the 1st round series between the Heat and Pacers shifting back to Indiana with both teams splitting the 1st two games in Miami, the Pacers now face an unexpected turn of events as Heat point guard Mario Chalmers has apparently been cleared to play.
Chalmers was previously nursing a severe ankle sprain but has decided to go against Heat trainer's urges for him to rest a bit more.
"It shows a lot on his part," Danny Granger said. "To want to come out and be willing to play through the pain. That's on him though. We have a job to do, as do they."
The Heat had previously been starting former Pacer Jarrett Jack in the place of Chalmers who scored 8 points and dished out 8 assists in game 1, and scored 10 points and dished out 6 assists in game 2.
The Heat will be still be without big man Jamaal Magliore though, leaving their frontcourt very, very thin.
Game 3 is scheduled for tonight at the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indiana.
