Kaman and Ricky came over early in season 1.

Crawford came over in the offseason and Sheed earlier this season.

Yeah, this Pacers team has certainly been overhauled. lol.

Chemistry is right at 50%. Winning games certianly helps with that. lol.

Davis Gets His Wish; Pacers Get Younger

The Indiana Pacers and Washington Wizards have agreed to a trade that will rid the Pacers of a disgruntled Ricky Davis after losing his starting position to sophomore guard Brandon Rush.

The Pacers will receive guard Javaris Crittenton and forward Olesky Pecherov in the exchange, with the Wizards acquiring Ricky Davis and the Pacers 2010 2nd round draft pick.

"This trade strengthens and energizes our backcourt by giving us a young guard in Javaris who can help us now and in the future with his athleticism," Pacers GM Larry Bird told reporters after the news of the trade surfaced.

The Wizards patch up a hole that was left in their rotation after they traded away Deshawn Stevenson to the T'Wolves a season ago for Corey Brewer. While Brewer has performed well for the Wizards, the Wizards only true shooting guard on the team was Nick Young up until this point. The Wizards also clear up a logjam at the point where Gilbert Arenas, Mike James, and Juan Dixon cover most of the minutes.

Crittenton, taken 19th overall by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2007 draft, arrived in Memphis in February 2008 as part of the Pau Gasol trade. He was then traded to Washington in Decomber 2008 in a three team deal involving the Hornets and Grizzlies involving Antonio Daniels and Mike James.

"Crittenton has shown flashes of his ability in Los Angeles, Memphis and Washington," Bird added. "He just needs a solid opportunity to prove himself. He'll get that chance here. He also gives us a different look in the backcourt with his size."

Sources out of the Pacers organization say Pecherov will see very limited play time in Indiana and will more than likely have his team option declined at the end of the season as he was only added to the deal so that the deal would work financially.

I didn't like you moving Ricky tbh, at least not for that, in return.

Good stuff though in their debut, nice to see Crawford carrying the team!

With Granger out, I'm really resorting to scoring with Jamal. How he is only rated 80/81 at this point boggles my mind. His shot is so easy to get down and when he gets hot, you can't stop him. He can put up numbers better than a 90+ could I swear.

Why not? I probably could've gotten better for him but I tried to make it as if his trade value dropped because of the season ending injury a season ago, and how he was unhappy after losing the starting job. I was working with some other deals, including one involving Keyon Dooling from the Nets which I was really high on, but thinking towards the future made a lot less sense than the Crittenton deal. Plus I've used Crittenton in the past in 2k8 and in 2k9 and he's a fun player to have. Athletic as shit.
