Tempers Flare After Bills' Last Loss At The Meadowlands
Terrell Owens caught 1 pass in the Bill's 35-24 loss to the Bills on Sunday.
That's right. 1.
A 72 yard touchdown pass.
Needless to say, every time Owens has been able to get the ball this year, the team has been successful. However, the Jets pass rush kept Bills quarterback Trent Edwards in check for most of the game and Owens was not able to get as many receptions as he would have liked.
And it seems like, in typical T.O. fashion, the ticking time bomb has finally gone off.
Owens lashed out in a press conference after the game.
"I can't catch the ball if the quarterback can't pull the trigger on those passes, and he can't get the pass off if no one's blocking."
The Bills offensive line was an area of concern coming into this season and is still a major one as the Bills sit at 4-2 heading into week 7.
"Guys are open out there," explained Edward at the Bills practice facility today. "I just need a little more time to get the ball to them."
Despite already matching his 11 touchdowns thrown in 2008, Edwards has already thrown 20 interceptions this year, double the number he threw in 2008.
