Okafor and Hornets Overpower Knicks
Hornets second half explosion halt NY's 1 game winning streak
Okafor was just too much to handle for the Knicks
The way the Knicks came out the gate it looked like they were poised to blow the struggling 0-3 New Orleans Hornets out of MSG. They opened up with a 29 point first quarter, hitting 6/7 from three point range. Also the Hornets mecurial point guard Chris Paul picked up two quick fouls sending him to the bench. As the game went on though, NY's offense slowly went into the shitter. Paul who picked up his third foul midway through the second quarter watched his teammates hold down the fort as they hung around. The Knicks held a nine point lead at halftime, then shit fell apart. The Hornets came out on fire in the second half, while NY went cold. Paul started to drive and dish and Okafor was too much down low for NY's big men. The Hornets erupted with a 30 point third quarter while holding NY to just 18 points. New Orleans put the Knicks to sleep in the 4th, scoring 38 points keyed by some hot shooting by Peja who hit several threes. Wasted in the loss was a brilliant game by Nate Robinson who held his own againt CP3 scoring 26 points and handing out 12 assists. The only downside to Nate's game is he had 5 turnovers, throwing several stupid passes. The Hornets wound up shooting a sizzling 66% from the field for the game. Okafor went a perfect 9/9 from the field with 18 points and pulled down 18 boards.

No Granger? No Problem For Pacers
Pacers throttle NY despite missing their all star small forward
Dunleavy rises and swishes a three. A theme that was repeated all game
This game was all set up for the Knicks. Small forward Danny Granger was out due to injury. The Pacers were 0-3. The Knicks were home. None of that mattered though as the Pacers still kicked the Knicks teeth in 103-79. The Knicks starters gave such a poor effort that an incensed D'Antoni pulled the squad off the floor and emptied his bench in the second half. Even Eddy Curry got some burn it was so bad. Danilo Gallinari took advantage of the extra time on the floor hoisting up 20 shots, only hitting 6 of them. All around this was just a terrible effort by NY as just about everyone shot terribly. Curry actually had the best shooting performance going 4/5 from the field. After the game a pissed off D'Antoni had this to say, "we stunk today, no doubt about it. I expect maximum effort out of my guys and even if your shot is not falling I expect you to get back on defense. I won't hesitate to play someone else if you're not doing the job that is expected of you." About the only Knick highlights in this game were two sick put back dunks by David Lee. Pacers also pounded NY on the glass 52-31.

Lee has been killing on the boards all season.....Knicks don't come into many games expecting to win, but without Granger I thought we had a good shotComment

Dude, Okafor raped you. That's not even funny. Hard to win games when you let the opposing team shoot over 60% lol.
Tough loss to the Pacers as well.
Beautiful updates in here though. Keep it up.Comment
