(5-1)...............(1-4)
There's No "D" In Team Either
Knicks give one of their most embarrassing "efforts" at the Garden in a 44 point ass whipping
It's showtime at the Garden as James pleases the Knick fans
The Cavs came into this game at 5-1. Granted no one expected the Knicks to win the game, but the fans at least expected their boys to be competitive. No such luck as King James and the Cavs mopped the Garden floor with the Knicks 120-76. The Knicks shot like shit and cared little about playing any defense in the 44 point loss. The fans booed unmercifully. It was so bad, Cleveland head coach Mike Brown gave James the fourth quarter off. Nate Robinson shot an awful 2-14 from the floor including 0-10 from behind the three point line but he was just one of the culprits in brick city night. This game was so bad, even when James had one of his dunk attempts blocked from behind by David Lee, the ball still magically went in. You just have to see that video, just crazy. After the game Mike D'Antoni said, "I wish I was playing NBA 2K10 so I could've turned this nightmare off at the half and restarted."
1. Apparently James is unaffected by block shots. Watch Lee swat it from behind and the ball still goes in.
2. James doing what he does
3. Hickson with a sick put back dunkComment

Originally posted by Benn AlGreat shot of Lebron there... but its tough in NY it seems.
Still the off-season will give you a chance to stamp your mark on the organisation and see if you can plants some seeds of success into the Knicks (not too much though.. Celtics ;) )
It will be awhile before this team can compete with the CelticsComment

LOL @ that beat down Rhude, you must've wanted to quit halfway through. Nate's 0 for 10 from three certainly helped the cause.Comment

Ghost Of Isiah Continues To Haunt Knicks
Stephon Marbury trade resonates in next year's draft
Even though it's been two years that Isiah Thomas has been exiled from New York, his work is still being felt around here. To Isiah's credit, he did draft some nice young talent (Robinson, Lee, Chandler), but his aquiring of Stephon Marbury some years ago severly hampers the Knicks in the 2010 draft. As part of the deal the Utah Jazz received the Knick's 2010 unprotected first round pick (Gugliotta trade) via Phoenix (Marbury trade). In that same deal the Suns received the Knicks 2005 first rounder. As we all know, Marbury didn't exactly work out here in NY. Because of this trade future rookies like John Wall, Ed Davis and Derrick Favors will all be out of NY's reach. Knick GM Donnie Walsh isn't sweating it though as he had this to say, "Look, when I signed on here I already knew the shape the organization was in. When I look at our roster I see a bunch of talented players with one year left on their contracts. That will ensure that we are major players in the 2010 free agent class. My first priority when I got here was to clear cap space, something we have been successful doing. While we would have loved to have a first round pick next year, we'll just have to deal with the situation we are currently in."
The Knicks are projected to finish at the bottom of the league which means the that pick could turn into a top 5 one for the Jazz.Comment
