Preview: Steelers At Browns
Thursday, December 10, 8:20 P.M.
Cleveland Browns Stadium
(7-5) @ (7-5)
The last time these two teams met, the Steelers just simply overpowered the Browns en route to a 22-9 victory. This time, the stakes are higher.
Its a primetime, thursday-night game. But most importantly, the winner of this game will take a strong hold off the division. With three games remaining after this, it would take a near collapse by the winner. Especially with both teams easy remaining schedules.
Both of these teams are very similar defensively. The Steelers are 2nd in total defense, 5th in pass defense, 3rd in rush defense, and third in scoring defense.
The Browns' resume is just as impressive with them being 3rd in total defense, 2nd in pass defense, 6th in rush defense, and 1st in scoring defense.
On a cold night in Cleveland, expect a low scoring, hard hitting, defensive battle.
Early Prediction: Steelers win 10-7

Cribbs Runs Wild In Blowout Win
The Cleveland Browns were emotionally charged in this primetime game.
-----------
Steelers fans will have nightmares of Cribbs in the wildcat formation for years to come. He touched the ball 9 times, scored on 3 of them, and it would have been four times if he didn't fumble at the two yard line on a 68 yard run. No worries though as Jerome Harrison ended up with the loose football in the endzone. Cribbs ended up with 178 yards on the ground.
The Browns' defense had a strangle hold on Pittsburgh's offense, holding them to just 216 total yards.
This win gives the Browns a big time edge in the division race. It is going to be one big party tonight in Cleveland.
