Ok yeah i am defentally trading Johnson. I do not know when but hes outta here. I just had another 0-5 game with him to bring the average down to a whooping 0.048. Any other idea that are realistic guys?

still very early in the season. give it some time imo. baseball seasons are long. cold streaks will happen. bench him or let him platoon or something.Comment

Just be more patient with him. I know when my guys go on cold streaks I tend to get less patient with them and start swinging at everything. Give him a day off, and then let him see some pitches when he comes back. Johnson is a consistent .300 hitter.Comment

I was just looking at Konerko today, lol. He's got good power still and I think that would be fair since they don't necessarily have an everyday CF.Comment

if youre the giants you need that free room to play schierholtz, you move winn to CF put schierholtz in right and then either lewis or bowker in left

Originally posted by tbirds84Randy Winn just came back from the DL, and I have a log jam in the outfield. No brainers to start for me are Jim Edmonds in CF and Nick Markakis in RF. For LF, I have a log jame between Randy Winn, Freddy Lewis, and Nate Schierholtz. I only want to keep two of them. Freddy is one of my favorite players, but is sucking dick right now. I like Schierholtz contact, but his power is almost nonexistent for me. As for Winn, should I trade him for some prospects? If I do, what should I demand back for Winn? Or, should I trade Freddy or Nate?Comment

I'm about 60 or so games into my Giants dynasty and Bengie Molina is hitting around .190 with 1 HR and under 10 RBI's. He has been absolutely terrible on offense. Eli Whiteside has been getting a few starts at catcher here and there, but Whiteside is basically a backup. Here's the dilemma now. I could move Pablo Sandoval back to catcher and acquire a 3B to fill Sandoval's spot until my top catching prospect Buster Posey is ready. I have been thinking about trying to go for Eric Chavez, but I'm not sure what to give up to get him. Another thing I could do is go for a catcher and leave Sandoval at third. I've been thinking about trying to acquire Ronny Paulino from the Marlins. What do you guys think I should do?Comment

anybody have an idea of how i can get Ryan Freel off the O's in my chise? idk know why he was on the team in the first place but he plays for the Royals IRL and i would like to send him to them but i don't think i can trade him to them without getting a player in return.
EDIT: i just looked and Ryan Freel was traded to the Cubs for Joey Gathright then the Cubs traded him to the Royals but it doesn't say who the Royals traded to the Cubs to get himLast edited by Justo; 07-27-2009, 06:16 PM.Comment

ight i figured out what i can do.... since the O's traded Oscar Salazar to the Padres for Cla Meredith i figured i would do that but they wouldn't accept the trade unless i added in Ryan Freel (who doesn't play for the O's anymore anyway). should i do this?Comment

I posted this on the last page, but it was at the end of the page, so I'm pretty sure no one saw it.

Theoretically speaking...what would be some realistic potential deals for Brandon Webb?
I know bigj got Phil Hughes and Austin Jackson for him, and that made sense. Other than that, who would be some suitors for him?
[1] Philadelphia - They just got Cliff Lee, but - let's say they didn't. Drabek, Dominic Brown, Lou Marson, Jason Donald.
[2] Rangers - Can include one of their top pitching prospects (likely Harrison or Holland), maybe Smoak, Borbon, Teagarden?
[3] Mets - F-Mart, Jon Niese, Bobby Parnell, maybe Ike Davis? Could use another solid starter to support Johan.
[4] Milwaukee - Alcides Escobar and Mat Gamel, thought the D'Backs don't necessarily need help at those positions with Reynolds and Drew already there.
Any other teams?Comment
