Knicks Guards Lead New York To A Win In San Antonio, To Finish Off Preseason

Chandler going hard to the rim and getting fouled, Chandler got most of his 22 Points by driving which is a strong part of his game.

    Game Recap
Knicks had a huge second half, we started off slow and our offence wasnt that great. Then things changed in the 2nd and all of a sudden everything was working, our guards were our main scorers but it was a team effort. David Lee did a good job at holding Duncan and not letting him take over the game and also controlled the rebounds, he ended up with 11. This was our last Preseason game and we ended it on a positive note.

    Jordan Player Of The Game
    Wilson Chandler

Wilson Chandler took over in the second half and really piled on the points, along with Sessions, Nate and Hughes, his offensive game was working well and thats where Knicks got most of there points. Chandler also got some time playing as a tall and pulled down 6 boards.

not a whole heap, nothing important really anyways

        - Zaza Pachulia ended up in my team and Wilcox left

        - I got two rookies, one called someone marion and the other i dunno

        - But with Pachulia i traded him back for Wilcox. (I might of have had to put in a one of my rookies to get him back)

Knicks Late Run Not Enough, Lose Season Opener

David Lee getting boxed out by two of New Jerseys Defender, Lee was held to only 11 Points and 7 Rebounds

            Game Recap
This was a dissapointing loss for New York, New Jersey didn't play that much better that us and we should've done alot better. Our defence wasnt good enough tonight, a variety of players lead by Yi Jianlian were in double figures and they seemed to score way to easily. Ramon Sessions had a rough game tonight, he was in foul trouble and couldn't get anything going on the offensive end, apart from that it was our defence that lost us the game tonight.

            Jordan Player Of The Game
            Yi Jianlian

Yi Jianlian opened the season with some form, his offence seemed unstoppable at times, his inside game was great and was too good for our defenders. Yi also grabbed 9 rebounds and 5 assists, he was a big part of Nets win.

Make sure you un check the boxes so you can do the off season. Best part of association IMO.

Sucks you started regular season with a loss.

                  Is Q-Rich Leaving New York?

As of late Quentin Richardson hasn't been getting alot of minutes for New York. Mike D'Antoni says that it could be time for Q-rich to start over in new colours, Knicks management has come out to the media saying there looking for a bit of excitement off there bench if they were to trade, a player who can defend well but also bring energy to the court. Quentin Richardson could have more of a leadership role in a younger team.

Nothing has been decided yet and both Richardson and New York know that theres nothing wrong between them its just a decision that could help Q-rich's career and Knicks team.

But who could be a player that would suit this role? A player who can defend and energise his team? That has yet to be decided.

anyone got any ideas who could be a player that would bring energy off the bench and play solid defence?

I have one in mind but it depends if the trade will go through, not giving anything away just yet though =P

No not Nick young for Q Rich. Not a chance.

Look for a team that needs depth at the SF position where Q could be a starter or back up and get expirings in return.

in terms of getting that energy guy with solid defence, if you still have jefferies he can be all you need, even though you should trade him too lol
ok so what boxes should i untick do do all this? lol

Yeh if i need to ill defaintely trade jeffries aswell, i barely play him

Make sure 'Player Contracts' is unchecked. It deals with resigning players and the free agency during the off-season.
