Twin Killers
Kelly Shoppach, beard and all watch the ball leave the park.
AP - Minneapolis, MN - Cleveland continues to dominate. In an offensive effort they rid themselves of another series with the Twins and captured a 2-1 series victory. The Tribe's red hot streaks, and failure to lose have propelled them this season. It's almost like the state of Ohio has another unbeatable team. (See: 2007 Ohio State Buckeyes).
Unlike the Buckeyes though, The Indians are looking to show a better post-season run. They continue to dominate their division and have a winning record against all teams in the AL Central. This of course will change gears as they host the AL West in upcoming games. The AL West has dominated the Indians as of late.
As the season progresses we're getting ever so closer to August and Manager Eric Wedge, who played all three of his bench men today, can't wait. "We need the full roster, the season is coming to a close and these guys need rest." This relief will come in the form of the Clippers and Aeros players that can be apart of the full 40 man roster when their seasons come to a close.
The Indians are looking to continue their winning ways as they draw closer to a 100 win season. Something this franchise hasn't done since 1995, when they went 100-44. That year they lost to the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. The Indians will try to get back to the World Series, and this team is looking more capable of that as time goes on. That is something they haven't done since 1997.

With a month and a half to go, the central is looking like it's mine. Still a little baseball to play.
Thanks LC, but it's not 182. Working towards that goal.
Thank you woy.
I'm done with Toronto on the season. They did a number on me, I went 0-8 against Toronto on the season.25-02, 23:16 Yawkey Way celtics fucking suckComment

Key Bank's "Keys to Succes"
1.) Focus - The Indians though holding an advantage over the Angels, have struggled against the AL West. They'll need to remain focused on a series victory and not let the past games against the West affect the outcome.
2.) Defense - The Tribe have been playing mistake free, this needs to continue and they'll continue to put wins in the double-u column.
3.) Bullpen Work - The Indians need a great showing from their bullpen to regain confidence in it. The past few outings from the bullpen have been shabby at best and needs to improve if the Indians are to continue winning games.25-02, 23:16 Yawkey Way celtics fucking suckComment

Good Golly Miss Molly!
Victor Martinez was one of many Indians, to hit a home run.
AP - Cleveland, OH - If there were any doubt that the Indians wouldn't be able to keep rolling? Well they're long gone now. The Tribe put up their best offensive performance of the season in a 12-3 pounding of the Angels. Los Angeles had no answer for the long ball as the Indians hitter pushed across seven home runs on the day.
The Tribe hitters made quick work of Jared Weaver, and Moseley. Weaver worked four innings and was pounded for 5 earned runs. Moseley pitched well through two innings but his final inning and a third he gave up 7 earned runs. The Angels never stood a chance against the big wood of Cleveland.
"We hit the hell out of the ball. You don't get many opportunities to do that at this level. Luckily today we took advantage of bad pitches and made the Angels pay for the mistakes. Something we have to do from now until the post-season. Make teams pay for mistakes." Commented Eric Wedge on the best performance offensively for the Indians.
The Tribe will host the Angels for two more games and welcome the Mariners from the emerald city, for a three game set.
