Ryan Longs' Coaching Career; Texas State Bobcats (w/ CAPS)

Alright so I have gotten quite bored with winning all the time in NCAA and constantly having to switch teams. So my goal here is to add some difficulty and variety for myself, and also maybe we can try to revive this section a little (probably not, but hey I am bored and have no games to play).

So my coachs' name is Ryan Long ("Ry" "Lo" ) and he will be starting out at Texas State University as an Offensive Coordinator. Rules are as follows:

    Rosters:

Using BuffEye's over on OS http://www.operationsports.com/forum...ters-xbox.html

    Coaching:

-I HAVE to stay with Texas State for at LEAST 4 years as the Offensive Coordinator. However if I sign a contract in year 2 or 3 that moves past my 4th year, I have to stay until that contract is up. Once I am able to move up in the coaching world, my next job can NOT be another one in the state of Texas. It also HAS to be another offensive coordinator position. After 2 years at that job, then I am eligible to move onto a Head Coaching gig.

    Recruiting:

-I can only recruit within the prestige level of my school and ONE above. So in this case, at this point it would be 1 and 2 stars.
-I can only recruit in the state of I am coaching and the conjoining states (Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, Arkansas in Texas St's case) and ONE additional state of my choosing (more than likely Florida or California i.e.).
-I am limited to 15 signees per year, with the exception of my first year. For the first year it'll be 20 to fill future holes.
-Recruiting will be placed on the Heisman difficulty.
-As an offensive coordinator I will only recruit offense and will leave the defense to the CPU.
    -Also can only redshirt freshman.

    Sliders:

I will be alternating between Jarrodd21's sets over at OS. I will tweak as needed for difficulty. Heisman difficulty. http://www.operationsports.com/forum...n-sliders.html

    CAPS:

I will be doing CAPS for this every 4 years of the dynasty. 15 spots will be opened up to include 3 "Gold", 5 "Silver", and 7 "Bronze". Gold players will be anywhere from 79-81. Silver players will be from 75-78. Bronze players will be from 70-75. Those ratings will all depend on your preference of 3 special skills and 3 subpar skills. First come first serve. I will follow your players every update and post pictures/stats.

    Coach Longs Career/Seasonal Recap

Ryan Long at his press conference upon accepting the OC position

Coach Ryan Long, though not extremely experienced, has coached the Dillon High School Panthers to 3 straight Texas
High School Championships. Coach Long graduated from Dillon High School in 2004. He was a 3 year starter at WR and earned
scholarships to a number of D-II schools, including Texas State, in which he accepted. He went on to start every game after
his redshirt freshman year and graduated in 2008. He moved back home to help take care of family and was offered the Head
Coaching job at Dillon High School a month after returning home. He implemented a new hybrid offense that consists of a No
Huddle Triple Option with spread formations sprinkled in. He also used the uncommon formation of 4-2-5 and through 3 seasons
completely perfected both styles in route to championships each season. In mid 2011 Texas State offered Coach Long an
assistant offensive coordinator/WR-TE coaching position. After that first year it was announced that Texas State would be joining
Division I FBS football. With a Divisional change overhead, Athletic Director Dr. Larry Teis and Head Football coach Dennis
Franchione agreed that the style Coach Long could bring to the table, and if mastered correctly, could help Texas State show the
FBS world what they are all about. He was hired at the end of the 2011 season as the Offensive Coordinator for the Texas State
Bobcats. At only 27 years old he looks to be one of the youngest coaches in league history. Can't help, but root for the guy,
especially since it'll take a lot of luck and patience to get these Cats to up to far with Division I.
