We sold Andreas Pereira to FC Vestsjaelland for $150,000. Pereira wasn't much of a factor at United, so this doesn't really affect the team. Javier Hernandez offers continued to come, as Tottenham Hotspur continued to bid as well as Valencia CF. Eventually, we were able to sell him to the Spurs for $32,800,000. We were able to use the money we got from the Hernandez sale to make an offer to FC Barcelona of $48,000,000 for Iniesta. There was also interest in Marouane Fellaini, who hasn't played much since being injured early in the season. We got offers of $9,000,000 from Fiorentina and $8,000,000 from Atletico Madrid.

Not much in the way of transfer news this week. Barcelona accepted our offer for Iniesta and he agreed to our contract offer, so he will be playing in United's next game against Arsenal. Both Fellaini deals fell through, as we never heard back from either potential buyer. Transfer window closes in just one week.

Last bit of transfer news as the window closes. We sold Tom Thorpe to Exeter City for $140,000, which may seem like a low fee to some but Thorpe never played. We were able to fulfill the transfer request of backup goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard, sending him to Atletico Madrid for $6,000,000. After reviewing several offers for Marouane Fellaini, we decided to accept one from Real Madrid for $9,500,000. Finally, with just hours left on deadline day, we sold Alexander Buttner to Aston Villa for $3,000,000, and the deal was quickly finalized.
