What? Did the Tigers trade him irl?

    edit

rofl, fuck they did. To the royals for cash considerations. wtf is that shit? haha

    double edit

guess it's a good thing I got Ryan Church after all. I'll trade him to the royals for a real shitty prospect or something since you can't exactly trade for cash considerations in game.

Tigers Trade Josh Anderson To Royals

The Tigers have traded outfielder Josh Anderson to the Royals for cash considerations. The Royals and Yankees both had interest, but the Yankees apparently weren't willing to offer up a prospect in the deal. The Royals also came ahead of New York in the waiver claims process.

Kansas City will be the third team for Anderson this calendar year and the fourth in his career. Detroit acquired him from Atlanta in the final week of Spring Training.

Anderson batted .281 with the Tigers with four doubles, three homers and 16 RBIs in 69 games. The 26-year-old also stole 24 bases in 33 attempts.

With Anderson departing, Tigers manager Jim Leyland is expected to shuffle up the lineup yet again. Curtis Granderson is to slide back to the leadoff spot with Placido Polanco batting behind him, second. Carlos Guillen will return will reassume left field duties and Ryan Church will now become the team's full time DH.

The Tigers recalled CF Clete Thomas out of AAA-Toledo to fill the empty roster spot.

          Current Tigers Lineup:

          1. CF Curtis Granderson
          2. 2B Placido Polanco
          3. RF Magglio Ordonez
          4. 1B Miguel Cabrera
          5. LF Carlos Guillen
          6. 3B Brandon Inge
          7. C Gerald Laird
          8. DH Ryan Church
          9. SS Michael Young

(Tigers trading away one of my best base stealing threats. )

Verlander's the shit. He could easily have double digits in wins if run production would come along when he pitched.

Thanks. It was tough giving up prospects for a pitcher that is 2-11 with a 6+ ERA. It was even tougher giving up Josh Anderson for practically nothing after he's hit for like .275 on the year and can steal bases. oh well.

haha. He's losing ground on the HR and RBI league leader list though. Not sure wtf is going on.
