              He started off the season as a long reliever. That might have something to do with it. And while he has racked up the wins and a pretty incredible record of 9-1, he's hardly been as dominant as Verlander and Bonderman have imo.

                  AL Takes All-Star Game 4-2





                  The AL All-Stars defeated their NL counterparts 4-2 in today's midsummer classic at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.

                  Both Miguel Cabrera and Curtis Granderson went 1 for 2 with both players base hits being doubles. Justin Verlander and Jeremy Bonderman both pitched an inning each in the pageantry that is the All-Star game. Verlander gave up 2 hits and 1 earned run in his inning while Bonderman's inning was a clean one,as he allowed no base hits and 0 earned runs. Both Tigers' pitchers struck out a batter.

                  With the AL emerging victorious, the AL now hold home field advantage in this year's World Series.
