yeah I really hate Tara, every episode she's either crying or bitching, although seeing Sam's downward spiral has been pretty good...it just felt like once again nothing really happened this episode besides the Eric/Russel part at the end, WAAAAAAAAAY too much Arlene, I don't care about her character

Tara and Sam are two characters who I don't give a fuck about, so seeing them hook up is always pointless and a little uncomfortable.

And Jason's white trash werepanther chick is not good looking at all IMO, why the fuck was he so head over heels with that bitch after two minutes? He's pulled way hotter on this show and never wifed any of them up, what gives? The only other girl he has gotten serious with was Lizzy Caplan's character, and this girl is no Lizzy Caplan.

Russell Edgington storyline with Eric, Pam, Bill and Sookie is really carrying this season on its back.

I happen to dig Debrah Ann Woll, and the recent turn of events with Hoyt's mom in cahoots with that other uppidy broad ain't too bad...but purely because DAW is hawt.

Maybe they can salvage the Lafayette storyline because its linked with witches and warlocks, but otherwise, terrible storyline. We have enough homo-shizz on this show as is.

Arlene storyline is WOAT.
Sam's storyline is awful.
Tara needs to die, quickly.
Jason storyline is challenging Arlene's for sure. OOOOOOO Were-Panthers. Who cares?`

Overall, this season lacks that BIG element that the first two seasons had so, I'm unsure what I think...but the lead story has been good, IMO. I like how it goes deeper into the politics of the vampire world.

Pretty much agreed. I'm disappointed after reading all the pre-season hype this show generated. All of the actors were saying there was more fucked up shit than last season, that Maryann will look like a pussy once you see the new characters this season, etc. etc. etc.

Instead it's a really cool story with Russell Edgington/Sookie surrounded by some white trash panthers and Sam's punk ass brother.

It really seems like the only thing Tara is there for is to get drunk and complain about how nobody likes her because she keeps it real. Other than getting kidnapped/raped by psychovamps and falling into a maenad induced sexual trance that is.
