So who all dies in the last three episodes?
    Lumen
    LaGuearta (please!)
    quinn
    Deb
    batista
    Jordan Chase (obvious)
    Quinn's PI
    That spanish cop

I can see cases being made for all of them biting the bullet. A lot of story lines still open. Dexter Vs. Chase is the big one, but you still have the Santa Muerta killer which has been on the back burner for a while, and the PI is a loose cannon now that Quinn told him to fuck off.
Santa Muerte killers were the Fuentes brothers. That's over and done with.

Deb shot one of them, I thought the other one got away?

I wonder what Jordan Chase is calling Deb for? I could see him kidnapping her. It's been done before, but it would be pretty interesting to have Dexter and Quinn both trying to save her.

I think he just wants to tell her that his brother has been working as a vigilante, taking out his friends and stealing his blood. It seems like Deb has to find out about Dex by the end of this season, if not through this storyline, or the PI Liddy, through something she'll find in the file room which will connect Dexter to Laura Moser and the Ice Truck Killer.

Too many questions starting to arise for Deb to remain in the dark. She has to find out at some point, right?

Pretty sure you're joking, NAHSTE, but I don't think he wants to tell Deb the truth about anything. He might just be trying to create a diversion and lead her onto something else. I'm pretty sure Chase thinks he can handle Dexter himself. The last thing he wants is the cops involved in this. I don't see him kidnapping her, either.

The PI is going to die sooner rather than later. Maybe in the next episode even. I think Dexter will find him snooping around, I'd be really surprised if Quinn or somebody else killed him.

Yeah, you're probably right. But I was thinking if Chase gets word that the dept. knows there is a vigilante on the case, he can ruin Dexter's life by spilling the beans to his sister. Not as his only means of getting revenge, he'd probably still try to handle Dexter himself, but just as an extra fuck you.

It's possible but it would be shitty writing and something that isn't likely to happen. Chase hasn't yet been tied to Boyd and Cole, if he throws himself out there to Deb like that then he's putting himself at risk.

Of course I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone is going to find out who Dexter really is besides the PI guy. At least not this season.

Does anyone know how many seasons this show is scheduled for?

Showtime hasn't renewed Dexter for a 6th season yet...makes you wonder...

On another note, it appears that Chase is calling Deb from outside Dexter's house in the promo.

As far as I know, there is one more season already confirmed. No idea beyond that. I'd be fine with ending it after next season. Seems like the show would have exhausted every theme that it could explore by that point.

Damn, thought I heard somewhere that it already was.

Yeah that's why I don't like the Chase kidnapping Deb to get to Dexter storyline since it's already happened before.

Deb finds out about Dexter, this was made clear in the previews of the season before it started. I think PI will spill the guts to her, and I can see him getting waxed by Quinn or Dexter right before he goes public with it. This show always has convenient misfortunes for settling the major threats, and the PI is bad news.

Im 100% positive Lumen will not die. Her dying would put Dexter in the exact same position he was in at the end of season 4. It would be a bit redundant. My guess is she either sticks around or she takes the fall as the vigilante and Dexter manages to get her out of the country safely so she never goes to jail.

Yeah I don't see Lumen dying. To me, Liddy is a given, Jordan Chase is a given, and Quinn is a strong maybe.

The previews don't give away anything. They make you think you know what is going to happen by showing you something but 99% of the time they're just leading you on.

That's a good guess, but even if she does take the fall for Dexter, Dexter would be an accomplice and have a ton of shit to explain so I don't think that's going to happen.
