And last night's episode was pretty solid. I've liked the past two endings to Dexter, pretty crazy shit. Last night reminded me of a Saw type deal. And Dexter finally see's Travis (Hanks' character).

The whole time he was looking at him, I was all TAKE A PICTURE!!!!

But yeah, the ending to the past two episodes have been pretty damn good.

i am really enjoying this season. it was tough going at first cause season 5 was shit. but i am enjoying the story lines alot more this season.

the only issue i am having is dexter and him killing people. it was once the draw but is now a repetitive scenerio over and over.

3 shows in and i still dont see a story line for him. we know it has something to do with that black dude...but who knows what it is. i like that black guy and i am hoping the new detective will have some impact.

i also like that new intern

Since episode one this season Dexter's storyline has been about religion/faith/belief.

Colin Hanks' boo's death was the best death on Dexter, ever. That shit was SAW-like. Loved it.

They are going to hot shot the DoomsDay Killer plot. That sucks. Hanks' dumbass is just chilling outside of the crime scene. Dexter spotted that nigga right quick.

just watched episode 4. WOW.....that was fucking great. not only did dexter not do his usual killer scenario, but you had one hell of an ending.

best episode i have seen in a long time. left me wanting more

Was watching The Simpsons last night, Halloween edition and they made fun of Dexter, and the opening, Flanders was killing people in the name of god, than watched Dexter this morning, and thats basically what Colin Hank's character is doing

I think you're right. The episode before this one when a waitress brought something to Colin Hanks at a table she pretty much acted liked he was the only one there. I could be looking too much into it because of what you said but I think it was supposed to be our first clue to this season's "big twist" at the end. And then last night Hanks was unable to even kidnap the girl without Olmos but when they plowed through the couple Olmos stepped on his foot but it was Hanks' foot on the pedal. Again, could just be looking too much into it but I think you nailed this one.

 

The part that messes with me on that theory (which I think that theory could very well still happen) is that his face is in the newspaper they buy at the the club, etc.

Then again, the department is looking for him and no one has seen the man in years so he could very well be dead and Hanks' character is just fulfilling Olmos' "dream" by performing all the acts he wrote/drew about.

The preview for next week is some serious retardation.

 

1.) The ice truck killer (aka Dex's brother) is now his "dark side" I guess, which is stupid as shit -- why bring that up now of all times!?

2.) Replaying the Trinity shit already (Oh snap it's Trinity's son probably! Fucking lame). There is a Trinity killer in Nebraska and now crazy evil Dexter with his darkness brother (Chappelle FTW) are road tripping there to kill him. GROAN.

This show is so fucking played out now. The "shocks" are nonsensical and aren't even really shocks. We keep going through the same talking points at this point with Dexter and it is fucking annoying.

While investigating the crime scene they saw that the security dvd was missing, so when the suspect was gunned down wouldn't it be obvious you would look for evidence linking him to crime such as security dvd, one place would be dvd player.

So while you can say the guy was an idiot for not destroying evidence, but since

 

he wasn't the shooter he probably didn't think the cops were going to be finding anytime soon, and it was explained why he had it and it was in the player because it was Nicks evidence that he killed Sam

I'm all in with the show because i've been watching for so many years, but it's reached a point where I don't really care what happens anymore. This season had some potential and showed glimmers of hope, but that's all out the window now.

I don't find the Colin Hanks storyline compelling at all, and have no desire to see where it leads.

It's time for this show to just get to the point where Deb has the moral dilemma when she discovers Dexter. That's really the only interesting angle the show has left.
