It will never happen. The only interesting season this show has left is the last one because that is when Dexter stops being untouchable.

Honestly, who the fuck believed ANYTHING would happen to Dex when lame ass Marshall had him in the ring of fire.

A much more threatening ring of fire -

I don't think anyone did because they still had 2 episodes left. I'm not sure they really were trying very hard to make you believe he was going to die. They did have an end of episode cliff hanger but they do that shit all the time and if anyone believed he would die off that would have to be retarded.

So it was unnecessary? Exactly like the last two seasons of this show and the next two.

And his escape was even more retarded.

Oh look! A boat full of illegals, classic Gulf of Mexico! Thankfully their ruthless leader who is going to rob everyone let me on board, he certainly knows my white ass has a ton of cash on me as I was floating in the middle of the god damn water! No worries, I'm a badass, I'll just stab his dumbass and everyone will love me!

Gulf of Mexico? Are you retarded? You know this show takes place in Florida, right?

Ruthless leader? They were peasants feeling Cuba with nothing, the guy was a petty thief trying to rob everyone before they all got off. Dexter is a serial killer. Plus, why would he blow his plan in the middle of the ocean before they even get there? That would have been even dumber.

I understand that it's not the most believable storyline, but this is a show about a serial killer going on 7 seasons. What did you expect? This isn't The Wire.

The west coast of Florida lies along the Gulf of Mexico. I honestly had no idea which side Miami was on. Turns out it's on the Atlantic Ocean side, my fault.

This show sucks, get over it. Is it really necessary to tell me "this isn't the Wire" .. why is that every poster on this board's defense when a show with a slightly ridiculous premise gets beyond stupid?

It is a show about a serial killer, not a fucking superhero. Dexter leans and treads water on a fucking 1/8 of the boat he was on that exploded for an entire day and then happily swims ashore when they make it near land. This is also after the gas shit that Dexter inhaled finally hit him at the perfect moment, to never be spoken of or mentioned again. A dumb fucking plot devise. This show is filled with them.

Peasants fleeing Cuba and he was a petty thief robbing them before they get there is 100% accurate. I forgot they did an entire back story on these people and explained his relation to them. Regardless, why would a guy trying to get himself to America condone the picking up of Dexter along the way and then rob them immediately after, BLOWING HIS COVER SECONDS AFTER DEXTER MAKES IT ON BOARD, never even trying to get anything from Dexter. If you're gunna pick him up, you better rob him first, even though it's pretty obvious a guy floating in the water won't have shit to rob, so why bother picking him up in the first place?

Not the most believable storyline? It's the dumbest fucking shit in a show filled with dumb fucking shit. This show is paint by numbers at this point and it's pathetic.

This show has some of the most horrid and lazy writing I've ever seen. Like Weeds and Entourage, I will watch until it finishes, just in case I miss anything awesome (I won't).

I'm sure you'll defend those two pieces of shit AS THE BEST SHOWS EVARRR OMGZZZZ

You know exactly what is going to happen every time. Aside from season 4 the exact same thing has happened at the end of every season.

Spoiler alert: Dexter kills his adversary and escapes unscathed.
Unscathed? Uh, did you miss the part about his sister, the Lt. of the police department, watch him kill his adversary?

You knew that Geller wasn't really alive then? Yeah, sure.

You knew that Deb was going to fall in love or whatever with Dexter? Right, I'm sure you predicted that one.

You knew that the Trinity's kid didn't actually kill his mom and sister? Please.

We all knew Deb would eventually find out about Dexter, that's not the quesiton, the question is how will she respond? Can you please tell me oh all knowing NAHSTE? How will she react?

While you're at it, please let me know what role Andersen and the intern will play next season, Snobby Wan Kenobi.

Obviously, the main question is how will the show end?

                1. Dexter gets caught/killed by police or somebody else.

                2. Dexter kills himself.

                3. Dexter never gets caught.

I've never read any of the books so I'm not sure if the series is done or if there are more coming out but the show will need to find an ending and I don't think they can just leave Dexter alive. That would be lame.

I do think the show needs to off some characters though. Quinn needs to die.

Then you must be the biggest fucking dumb shit ever since you keep watching it. Don't know what else to tell you.

I don't care about how Dexter survives or how he gets out of a boat exploding, I realize dumb shit like that is going to be thrown in, the main reason why this show is good has to do with the killings and the psychology of a serial killer, what is going on in Dexter's head and the moral dilemma surrounding the show - is it ok for someone to kill "bad guys?" and how the audience roots for the serial killer.

Is it over the top at times? Yeah, but I expect that to happen considering this guy has killed like 30 people and works for the police, lol.

Palooza, what did you think of Boondock Saints? That was one of the dumbest movies ever but people loved it.

I thought it was great in terms of entertainment value. It's also a 90 minute movie with one storyline and this is a show with six 13-episode seasons. It should have ended a long time ago.

I already explained I watch because A) I have nothing better to do and B) because I've already invested so much time in this show, I might as well finish it out.

You obviously weren't in this thread as the season was progressing since we all discussed Gellar being dead around episode 3.

Deb falling in love with Dexter IS SO FUCKING STUPID. Nobody may have seen it coming because it's so ridiculous. M Night Shymalan's movies are unpredictable, doesn't mean they're good.

The one episode addition of Trinity's kid were the writers poking fun at the audience, "ha ha ha! remember when this show was good?" A dumb and unnecessary addition to the show.

Um, are you one of the many shitty writers on this show? How do you know Deb isn't in love with Dexter, even though you referenced it as something NAHSTE predicted, insinuating it has happened? Everything they've showed so far points to it.

Why are you so delusional about this show?

We don't know how Debra feels about Dexter. She is confused. And so are you, apparently, since you can't figure that out.

I'm not delusional. It's a good show. One of the better shows on TV. It is more interesting, entertaining, and different than 90% of shows on TV and it will go down as one of my favorite TV series of all time.

I never watched all of LOST. I watched the first 4-5 seasons and lost interest.

I never finished Entourage. I think I have the last season left.

Very few shows can keep my interest for the entire duration of the series. This will be one of them. If you don't feel the same then you just aren't as interested in the theme of the show as I am. I have a sick fascination with serial killers. I like dark, violent, suspense thrillers. I'm a sick twisted fuck like that.

I don't think there is any doubt that this show gets a little worse as time goes on. I think season 2 was the best and the earlier seasons were easily better than these past couple. But the show still interests me and I still think it's a damn good show.
