Just finished my re-watch of LOST Season 6 on Blu-Ray.

Like most fans, I am not entirely pleased with how it ended, but am not losing sleep over it either.

I believe they were forced into this ending by the declining popularity of the show and the number of episodes they had left to explain the mythology. Walt's age also clearly played a role.

IMO, the best way they could end this series is in book form, where there's no pressure to deal with ratings or costs.

I would love an alternate universe LOST after season 2 in book form, where time is not a big deal or ratings.


And, yes, I'm taking this too fucking seriously, but this is my favourite TV show of all time - and nothing comes close.

Just finished the show. I started before I posted ^^^. Man I was teary when Jin and Sun died, when they all get back together in the church and when the scene with Jack and Hurley before Jack goes into the light cave.
