"Sometimes I just want to be with my family and watch movie and eat some popcorn. But when I step on the mat I know there is no other place I'd rather be." - Marcelo Garcia
Finished Sons of Anarchy. Season one was good, season two was amazing. Shit really hit the fan in the finale. No idea how they're going to tie it together.
I was hyped for the albums this summer, but this fall is really going to blow my mind away.
September 14th: Passion, Pain & Pleasure (Trey Songz), N/A [was Good Ass Job, changing title] (Kanye West) September 21st: Nelly 5.0 [I might be the only one hyped for this, I don't care, lol] (Nelly) September 28th: King Uncaged (T.I.) October 26th: N/A (J. Cole), Mood Muzik 4: A Turn 4 the Worst (Joe Budden), Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager (Kid Cudi)
Plus probably more shit I'm missing.
LASERS, NIGGA!!!
Lupe does not approve.
...
Btw, listening to My Drink n My Two-Step (Cassidy ft. Swizz Beats)... It just occurred to me... 2006-2007 (my eighth grade year) was pretty good for hip-hop. Not that everything released was amazing, but Lupe's first two albums came out and we had some decent songs that can still be listened to...
Like Snap Yo Fingers (Lil Jon ft. E-40, Sean P.). Lil Jon's music isn't heavy on substance, but he never claims to be the greatest ever or more than he is - he's a hype artist. And that's cool.
Plus Yung Joc (who I'm not really a fan of, but he had two big singles - It's Going Down, I Know You See It... E-40 had two big hits get national recognition - Tell Me When to Go and Go Hard or Go Home (ft. The Federation). Shit, my eighth grade dance was pretty fun. XD
Every time I see that Eat, Pray, Love trailer I feel like punching Julia Roberts and the author of the book.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't see how a story about a rich woman who abandons her family simply out of boredom, gets fat out of a divorce that she initiated due to HER unfaithfulness and then takes a self-indulgent trip around the world so she can fool around with foreign men to "find herself and true love" as something worth filming, but then again women eat that kind of fairy tale shit up.
The hope the movie bombs horribly.

Even Lupe doesn't even know when that album is coming out. That's why via twitter, he has announced he's working on Food and Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album.

lol. Good analysis. For the record, I hope it bombs, too, but bitches dig that shit for some reason.
