have you ever known anyone with Jesse's level of drug problems? I have. he nails being a tweaker right on the head. have you ever been to rehab? I have. He nailed the range of emotions you go through right on the head. Have you ever done something that you can never take back that just destroys you? I havent. but I imagine what he's going through this season is exactly how it is.
and he's supposed to sound ridiculous when he says yo, that's why everyone makes fun of him for it. Jesse is a stereotypical suburban white kid. his slang usage is like every tweaker i knew in south phoenix. different city. same white trashComment

Can someone help me understand whats going on in season 3, I've missed alot of info because I dont have subs for the Spanish, and my episode 4s audio was replaced with episode 3s. I just finished episode 8 with the other brother dying. From what I can make out, the brothers are related to Tucou (sp?) and are out to find Walter, i'm guessing the chicken man told them Walt didnt actually kill Tucou so they changed their focus to Hank, but at the hospital, the brother who was still alive clearly wanted to kill Walter. Also, what was the backstory about, the guy in the wheelchair nearly drowning one of them, and was there any info on why there seemed to be focus on the skulls on their shoes?
Thanks for the helpComment

............oh
LOL
back on topic:
this was probably the least entertaining episode ive seen in a while. I seriously do not give a single fuck about Marie and her problems and as far as Hank goes, I get it, he's bitter, give me some more Mike the Cleaner or Jesse or anything related to the cartel at all. when the episode ended my girlfriend and I were both like "what the fuck? that was it?"
Sets up real nice for next week though... Heisenberg is the only thing that can save Hank, in many more ways than one.Comment

Just finished season 3, while it was surprising, I was actually happy with what happened, but not the leading up to it, I hated that character. Obviously since there is another season, Walt lives, no surprise there. I could see him and Sky getting back together if he does buy the car wash.
I heard the show will end after season 5, any truth to that?Comment

Thanks for the helpThis might be a little late given you've finished the season, but the brothers were Tuco's cousins. Gus set up a meeting with them and told them to hold off on killing Walt because he (Gus) was doing business with him, and the brothers would have to wait until Walt's contract was fulfilled to take their revenge for Tuco's death. However, the brothers became restless, and Gus sent them after Hank as a consolation. The reasoning for giving Hank away was later explained in Walt's conversation with Gus.
The guy in the wheelchair (Don Salamanca) was Tuco's and the brothers' uncle as well as a high ranking member of the cartel. The scene with boys fighting gave some backstory about Don Salamanca's distrust for Gus when he was appointed as the head of the cartel's drug operations across the border in the U.S. The part where Don was drowning one of the boys was to teach them that "family is everything" after the one said he wanted his brother dead.
I think the focus on the shoes was to highlight their association with the cartel.
As for how much gas the series has left, I can't imagine it'll be on for much longer than a season or two.Comment

there is some beautiful synergy here. Hank fell because of Heisenberg. but Heisenberg is paying for his recovery. and getting back on the trail of Heisenberg will bring him the fuck out of rockland. And honestly, Hank has always been a fucking blowhard. fake. center of his own universe but nothing at it's core. and its Heisenberg that is going to make him real. I am reminded of the end of the last season of Dexter, where there the guy was like... "the conflict, it created you, it made you stronger, it made you who you are."Comment

I'm not liking the "friends" angle the show is going with with Skyler & Walt. Either Walt should rail Skyler and get back together or Skyler should stay on the sidelines.
Hank and Marie are both fake. But that's what makes their private moments of their life good television for me imo.Comment

Great episode. From start to finish really. And Gale singing just had me rolling.
