I'm still interested in this show and will continue to watch, but I must say, this episode had a few too many "convenient" happenings.

There is the 3 week track record for this show. What does it mean? This show is a one-season and your done kinda deal. It's FastForward 2.0. With the size of the cast, and the production costs, they simply cannot afford to keep the show around even if they can accept these low numbers (Which, BTW, will continue to drop in the next couple weeks). After Heroes.....I'm sure they have learned this lesson.

Half the show sucks with it's formulaic nature, the other half is interesting (aliens).

I doubt they're zombies, most likely, new brand of the aliens or whatever the hell they are.

Who assumes the conspiracy is led by the President's right hand man? Watching lil Ritter smash the entire thing is boring.

I don't mind the show so far, but Jason Ritter is a horrid lead character.
Too emo.

I don't buy a guy like that evading top-notch CIA agents and what-not.

My guess is this show is a one-season wonder. They might as well just start writing it that way.

People simply don't have the patience for complicated and, at times, downright confusing storylines.

Shows like this belong on Sci-Fi channels.

On another topic: No CSI season will ever touch LOST Season 1 ... ever.

damn, postings in here imitate the shows ratings. The Event has leveled off at roughly 6.4 million people and 2.1 in the 18-49 demo. Not good, but because of NBCs sad state of affairs the back 9 episodes have been ordered for the season. At the rate NBC is going, this may even get a 2nd season due to pity/lack of shows to fill slots.

P.S. Heroes, which sucked and was rightfully canceled, was getting better ratings than this show which replaced it.
P.S.S. I'm still watching, it's akin to watching the news 24/7 when Katrina occurred.

I don't know how they can extend the plot of this show much further. They've pretty much wrapped up the only interesting plotlines

This show is fast paced 100% of the time, there's hardly any character development. Any person on this show could die next episode and I wouldn't care at all.

This is like the Lil' Wayne of TV shows, dumbs it down to keep people interested.

The only storyline worth caring about is the alien stuff.

Don't see a long lifespan for the series, but hopefully they can continue with the alien stuff long enough to not die out like the kidnapping/conspiracy crap.
