I don't see how he messed up Watchmen, the ending was incredibly different, but he wasn't gonna put a big effing weird creature in the middle of Manhattan, in major movie production that just looks dumb.

I dunno I thought generally speaking people who were fans of the book didn't like it since it didn't incorporate most of the more complex topics of the book, and it was hit or miss with people not familiar with the book. I thought it was great in comparison to the typical super hero movie but it would have been hard for anyone to match the quality of the source material.

I think this could end up being very good though, hard to tell with how little that's been shown so far. I'm getting the impression the style won't be as over-the-top as other Snyder stuff, and he didn't write it either so that's good.

Cause we all know the key to good superhero flicks these days is just mindless action... That trailer looked great, looks like we are going to finally get the Superman movie we deserve! I think Nolan's genius of bringing together a great ensemble cast rubbed off on Snyder here.

Anyone know what movie this is playing in front of?

It was a faithful adaptation for sure. As a fan of the Graphic Novel, I loved it, but it's not a very entertaining film. Whenever I pop the blu-ray in these days I can barely get through the first act.
