Not anything new for The Man of Steel, but a really cool deleted scene from Superman Returns. It visually bridges the gap of what Supes was up to in between his disappearance and Return.

My first reaction to seeing this trailer:

"Holy shit Terence Malick is directing this!"



"I swear I've seen Clark Kent as a longshoreman before!"

All kidding aside, can't wait for this movie! Looks like Nolan has totally merged Supes into his universe. It's obvious what Warner Brothers is doing, IMO... They want a Nightwing or Superman movie every summer to combat Marvel/Fox/Sony. The ironic/funny thing is "Back in the day" Batman/Superman comics were always geared toward children, while Marvel was a little more adult/edgey and appealed to "tweens"/teens. Flash forward to present day Bats/Supes movies are totally more adult/drama driven, while Marvel Studios is geared toward the younger/action crowd.

Its kind of crazy how Snyder's last movie "Sucker Punch" looked like a video game, yet it seems his inner cinematographer (minus his past gross over useage of CGI) has set the overall tone/look of this movie. Looks like either Nolan has rubbed off on him (lol) or Nolan has taken over! Either way color me EXCITED!
