Aronofsky working on Wolverine 2? Interesting. I definitely want to see what he does with it considering how fucking awful the first one was.

He'll probably turn it into some trippy mess like he did with his other Hugh Jackman project...........The Fountain.

It's no wonder Brad Pitt dropped the fuck out of that shit.

Is this terrible movie connected to Superman Returns and 1-4? Or is it a reboot?

Aronofsky usually has some visually stunning stuff in his movies. I liked The Fountain TBH along with a lot of his other work. However, The Wrestler appealed to a wider audience without the "trippiness" as it were. So I wouldn't jump to your conclusion based solely off The Fountain.

Also, Aronofsky seems to do well with dark themed movies, and the story of Wolverine's origin needs to be dark.

Exactly. With an actor and a director working together for the second time, the movies will be exactly the same. Especially since one is a love story based around the fear of death and the other is a comic book adaptation's sequel.

Vulture spoke with Armie Hammer about his latest film, The Social Network. During the interview, they asked him if he had had his agents call director Zack Snyder regarding the role of Superman. Hammer has been an internet rumor for the part.

Apparently they are looking for an older actor to portray the Man of Steel. Here is what he had to say:

You've made a lot of people's Superman fantasy-casting lists. Did you have your people put in a call to Zack Snyder, who's directing the reboot?

[Laughs.] You know what's funny? I did talk to my people recently about that for the first time, and I think they're going a little older with Superman. I hear they're going 35, 40.

Really? Wow, Jon Hamm will be excited.

Yeah, I don't know what that might mean.
So, just as they said. Jon Hamm has to be the early favorite for the part. I had Jon Hamm as a top candidate in an earlier story. I actually really like the fact that they are going in this direction. It makes me think they are going to go with a more, "don't mess with me or I'll mess with you" type character, as opposed to the, "boy scout" we saw in Superman Returns.

                    I LOVE VSN

The Lois Lane casting is down to Jessica Beil, Rachel McAdams (The Notebook), Kristan Stewart (Twilight), Malin Akerman (Watchman) and Dianna Agron (GLEE).

Beil apparently is the front runner.

Stewart (Sucker Punch) and Akerman (Watchman) have both been in Snyders last two movies.

-McAdams is by far the best choice.
-Beil's hot enough but just doesn't look the part, she needs to be Wounder Woman, anyway.
-Akerman looks too much like the last shitty Lois (Kate Bosworth) from Superman Returns.
                              -Stewart.... HELL NO!
                              -Agron's too young...

I will quit caring about this movie if they cast Kristan Stewart!

Why does Beil's name keep popping up in the casting news for Nolan's movies coming out next year? She's fucking terrible when it comes to acting. Is Nolan hitting that on the side or what?
