He was supposedly a "crazy" king who was turning on his people, thus he was overthrown (killed, by Jamie, the one caught banging his sister by the boy, did it). The white haired weirdo boy wants the throne back for his family and gave his white haired sister to the best savage army leader their is in order to get them to be his army since he had none. He is in infatuated with gaining the throne back.

FYI, those with DirecTV, HBO and Cinemax are free this weekend and HBO is airing a full day marathon of season 2 starting at 11am Easter morning. Followed by premiere of Season 3 Easter night.

BTW - That's why they call Jaime Lannister "Kingslayer." Also - Tywin Lannister (The Queen, Jaime, and the midget's father) is responsible for killing the rest of the Targaryens (white hairs) - including the little kids.

The brother and sister are all that are left and they are in hiding from King Robert on a different continent. They are trying to build an army in secret so they can take back their family's kingdom.

I knew the pretty boy brother killed a king, but I thought it was Starks dad or brother or something, I just thought the white haired peoples King got killed in another attack and blamed everybody else. There are a lot of plot lines going and I barely know peoples names, a few things just slipped my mind

Jesus, even Viserys didn't call her a whore that much.

I thought it was a quick episode, meaning I have waited since last June for new ones and when it came on I was so much, time flew by. I liked how they touched on everything basically except for basically Theon and Arya. Kind of just bring everything back up to speed. And Joffery has seemingly got less douchy in one episode.

I can't wait to get into this season. You know with that army and those dragons, she is just going to fuck some people up. Though I fear that is the second part of the book, and will be season 4. how I wish HBO would run 10 shows in the first half of the year, and 10 in the second. 10 a year is just to few in the grand scheme of things.

Unimpressed with this season's first episode, but I think reading the books is mostly to blame for that. That episode needed to be 2 hours long. The rest of the season should be a lot better though. Expecting more excitement and getting deeper into these stories. Most looking forward to watching the Jamie Lannister and John Snow story lines. Fuck, thinking about all the story lines now ...Robb & Catelyn, Arya, Bran, Tyrion, etc... all of those are going to be awesome.
