I've been looking for a new show, this caught my eye. I've read fantasy novels for years but never heard of this series, but the genre is certainly to my liking. There's not been enough TV series with fantasy settings IMO, hopefully this starts a trend.

I've always read Forgotten Realms pretty much, basically on a mission to read it's entire library (I'm about 40% through over the past 6 years or so). Have read some Eberron as well, but just a few books.

I suppose it would have appealed to me had I heard of it, just never have before.

On the bright side, the entire TV series will be brand new to me.
