If those are the characters that you're paying attention for, you'll have a better time with season 3. But honestly, you're setting yourself up way short by having a tunnel vision in regards to that little shithead and a girl who's clear across another continent from where the action is happening. I think most would agree that the most compelling character in the entire series is Tyrion Lannister, followed by Jon Snow.
