The third book is the best book, so I cannot help but think this will be the best season. That being said, they should really make the next book into two seasons or something. Martin isn't about to finish his next book any time soon.

Third book will be 2 seasons, I think.

Yeah this one is being split. Although I believe they said the seasons won't reflect the books exactly anyway. I really cannot see Martin finishing this series before the show is over, unless they add a bunch of seasons. Best case scenario is the final season and final book coming out at the same time.

At the moment we're at least at 6 seasons of book material. With the third book being split into two. So that means George has until 2017 or so to get the last two books done. Though I think he'll end up with 8 books anyway because he's got a lot of ground to cover.

The problem is the children actors will be 30 years old before Martin finishes the next two books, let alone the last one.

Now this is a show where the lead actress can get naked.

This will be Daenarys's best season. The burning of Astapor. The purchase of the Unsullied. All awesome.

And then she turns to shit again. In ADWD, she is by far the weakest character. I hope the show writers get some go ahead to make her interesting after this season.

                  Mild book spoilers.

I've been seeing Game of Thrones ads on TV all weekend and just every time. You just know this season is going to be epic.
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                      "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

I just bought the first season of GoT a few days ago and have been watching and so, I actually like it, I'm not a fan of medieval times stuff or fantasy things like dragons, although I'll give Harry Potter a pass on that part. I just finished the 4th episode last night, where Lady Stark tried to have the Imp arrested. At times, admittedly, the show can be a little hard to follow, for the longest time, I didnt realize only the male Starks were left home while Lord Stark and his daughters were with him. A lot of time passes between episodes and you never realize it, my only cue was how large the dogs/wolves got. I'm still wondering why the story focuses on the 2 white people with the white hair, I understand why we focus on the King, his wife, and that family, they are more connected with the Starks, I can only guess that down the road, the white people with white hair and that army will have to attack the King and or the Starks, I know the brother thinks he should command the 7 Kingdoms, so I'm guessing season 2 or 3 that'll come more into play I'm hoping. So far, its got me watching and i'll definitely buy the second season and try and catch up with the third.

Their father was the King before the current King Robert you see now. He was supposedly a "crazy" king who was turning on his people, thus he was overthrown (killed, by Jamie, the one caught banging his sister by the boy). The white haired weirdo boy wants the throne back for his family and gave his white haired sister to the best savage army leader their is in order to get them to be his army since he had none. He is infatuated with gaining the throne back.

FYI, those with DirecTV, HBO and Cinemax are free this weekend and HBO is airing a full day marathon of season 2 starting at 11am Easter morning. Followed by premiere of Season 3 Easter night.

Poor Walking Dead having to go up against Game of Thrones premiere. Doesn't stand a chance.
