I'm rewatching s1.
*spoiler*

Did little finger know Ned was going to be all goody goody and reject his offer or was his offer to him genuine ? I'm trying to grasp of everything that's revealed on s4 and happens along the way was his intent or him rolling with the punches seeing how things turned out and adjusting accordingly.

Also I have to think the Books are loaded with backstory. Seeing season 1 with the extra content and stories from each perspective bring a whole new light on everything. Totally different than just watching the show alone.
