What's the Last Movie You Watched?

Watched this last night with the wifee. I found it to be a very decent movie. Fantastic soundtrack as it seemed a new song was playing in every scene. A new feel good movie to stick around a bit. It has the mold of a Superbad type movie. One epic night with his boy chasing a girl. Very good.

To tell the truth I was debating between 8½ and A Bout De Souffle(breathless) a film by the same guy that made 400 Blows so you may have heard of it. I wasn't a huge fan of 400 Blows so I choose 8½, but I'm planning on watching breathless soon.

Truffaut wrote Breathless, but Godard directed it.

Breathless is awesome.

Hot Tub Time Machine.

Hated it. I turned it off less than half-way through (after they morph into the 80s). The characters were beyond awful and the dialogue was not funny in the slightest. I think the only time I laughed was when the big black dude from The Office freaked out when he realized what happened.

A Player To Be Named Later - A 2005 documentary following the Triple-A affiliate for the Milwaukee Brewers for a season. Great stuff, it highlights a few players (ranging from a 32-year old who never made it to the bigs, a 29-year old who is thinking about life after baseball, Kyle Peterson - a former 1st round draft pick who is coming off shoulder surgery and Marco Scutaro - recently acquired in a trade from Cleveland).

The players and their families all show what life is like for a minor leaguer with a dream to make it.

HIGHLY recommended.

To my pleasant surprise, The Fighter is already up on netflix so watched that today. Bale was excellent, definitely the best part of the movie. I hope they make a sequel though about his trio of fights with Gatti.
