With 50/50 I did actually start crying

 

When he finally broke down and was scared he wasn't ever going to wake hope had me sick. Whats crazy is that ONE scene stands out so much to me yet when I saw it a second time I fucking started crying again like a pussy. How does a 30 second scene hit you so damn hard.

On a more side note, I thought the Patrick Swayze joke was amazing and the "I just nailed that cunt" scenes were two of the funniest scenes of the film.

Seth Rogen's handling of Bryce Dallas Howard was far too perfect. I loved every second of it.

The theater was packed when I saw it and in an effort to contain myself, I looked around the crowd. Lots of grown men crying. Three things in particular got me -

 

The car scene where JGL kicked Seth Rogen out, called Anna Kendrick and did his yelling fit

When JGL found Seth Rogen's cancer book with a ton of notes in it

In the hospital with JGL and Anjelica Huston

Agreed on the second two but I held strong....took a big gulp and no tears rolling.

The Ides of March

Great performances. Very tense political thriller. Not the most imaginative of plots, but this one is well told and tightly wound.
