Watched Easy A today.
Emma Stone did a great job with a great script. This one could easily be confused as a John Hughes movie.
Very good stuff. Highly recommended. My Twitch video link: http://www.twitch.tv/dave374000

The Social Network is an amazing movie. Finally got a trusted copy today and it blew my mind. Easily the best movie I've seen since The Dark Knight and one of the top movies I've ever seen. I would watch it again immediately. Definitely going to buy a few copies for presents for friends to help support it considering I didn't purchase it myself. Amazing storyline, amazing acting, and even though JT looks like an asshole in this movie, I still love the guy. Probably the best movie I've ever seen based off something I'm so familiar with.Comment

I'm Still Here: 9.7/10 - Let me start off by saying that I really, really enjoyed this film. The movie, without a doubt, accomplished its goal in showing celebrity image and how its drastic change is received by the media and fans. It's an uncomfortable watch, but is worth it because of Joaquin Phoenix. Honestly, this whole hoax has to go down as one of the greatest in Hollywood history. If you want to talk about completely submerging oneself into a role, look no further than what Phoenix did in this mockumentary. To bring such criticism upon his image just to create a film that was a limited release is breathtaking. On the same note, the film shows just how fragile and unimportant a celebrity status can be. No matter how great of an actor you may be or how big of a name you are, people can turn their back on you, mock you and forget you in a short span of time. I think that's the reason that many didn't take kind to this film and didn't seem to care enough. Phoenix is, to a lot of people, in the past. In a ways, this role has severely hurt his career. On another level, it is an UNBELIEVABLE achievement and some of the finest acting in recent memory.Comment

yeah, he was pretty cool. I liked Reece Thompson's character in Rocket Science a little bit more, but they're essentially the same character (except one has a terrible stutter).Comment
