I had my own personal guy flick night last night. The Expendables and The A-Team. I had previously seen the former in the theater but I went on a day right after I worked midnights the night before and couldn't stay awake for the life of me. After watching it again it was decent but even I would only say it was a 6/10 at best. As for the latter, I was very surprised how good it was. I watched the extended version. I'd say 7.5-8/10. I really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the A-Team a lot, actually. I was expecting meh from it, but it was very enjoyable. However, I was expecting so much awesome from the Expendables and I was severely disappointed.

The Expendables was a POS. AN embarrassment for men everywhere.

I wasn't expecting an awful lot from The A-Team, but Sharlto Copley...god DAMN.

It also didn't hurt that Jessica Biel was in it. ;)

I was pretty disappointed in The Expendables as well. It was nice to see Statham kick the shit out of like 1000 dudes, but besides that it was pretty bad. The special effects on deep stabs near the end were downright awful.

A Charisma Carpenter sex scene would've made the movie 10x better.

This movie is emotionally draining and has a lot to digest.

I think I'm going to bring my movie-nerdness to a new level and start cataloging every movie I've seen to satisfy my semi-OCD tendencies when it comes to watching movies.

Watched A Clockwork Orange last night. It was good, but I thought it would be better than it was.

For those talking about Expendables, it was good for action. It was certainly pumped up to be like The Rock/Con Air and go back to similar action movies of the 90's, and that is where it disappointed. For an action movie in todays world, it was better good.

My last movie was Michael Clayton. Very good movie, and one that I find people I know have not watched before.
