I was pretty underwhelmed IMO....
It wasn't bad, but it had way too much to do in two hours; Cap's Origin, romance, stopping Red Skull, getting Cap to 2012 and setting up the Avengers. I really liked the characters, the story just kind of sucked after he turned into Captain America and the action sequences was meh... Red Skull was pretty gay, but I never cared for that villain. Oh and the 3D was garbage! Don't waste your money for 3D, but you should probably already know that.
It had positives, Chris Evans, Stanley Tucci (sp), Tommy Lee Jones and Hayley Atwell were Great! And it really made me excited to see Cap in the Avengers. Oh and def. stay through the credits and see the Avengers Teaser! Oh ya I really liked the end for some reason, especially the way they executed getting Cap to present day.Comment

Ghost in the Shell was the first anime movie I've seen. It was pretty good, didn't win me over enough to make me want to start watching anime though.Comment

I have heard that it was a good film for people who are not a fan or familiar with anime. I will probably still take a look at the classics of the genre but don't really have a desire to delve much deeper.Comment

Captain American - 8/10
Very entertaining and funnier than most outright comedies I've seen lately.Comment

I love movies like that, but I can't see them very often. I feel like I need to set an evening aside when I want to watch a movie that's that heavy.
Movies I've watched recently:
Bronson - Tom Hardy as the most violent prisoner in the UK. It's gold. Total mindfuck, but too much of his weiner is up on the screen. I hate when naked dudes fight in movies. Way more dong than Eastern Promises. More blood too. Tom Hardy will be awesome as Bane, with this role as proof to his credentials.
The Lincoln Lawyer - Cheesy. The whole thing was too polished. Maybe my opinion is ruined from taking too many video editing and film studies classes, but I couldn't get over how all the scenes were shot to make the actors look super beautiful and perfect hair, etc. Then when shit gets serious the color leaves the screen. It's just too perfect. Every shot has blue and orange in it so it makes to more pleasing to the eye (they are complimentary colors) and that just makes the whole thing cheesy. It's like an episode of CSI but the hangers aren't as cool or over the top. If I were a video-editing professor grading this movie for a student, they'd get a A+. It's technically perfect but in that sense the whole thing seems so shallow to me.
Harry Potter 7.2 - It was fine. I like how it was shot and I like how it was pretty epic in comparison. Closest thing to a Wizardry War movie. I wouldn't go out of my way to see it again, but when it pops up on TV sometime in two years I might watch it again.[REDACTED]Comment

Black Christmas (1974) was great. I feel that it doesn't get nearly enough credit as a classic of the genre, especially since it was 4 years before Halloween which was extremely similar.Comment
