Just watched BridesMaids with my wife this weekend at the beach on a burnt copy. It was ok, except for a few really funny parts. "its like lava coming out of me"

About 30 minutes from the end of Inception. Already seen it before, this is my 2nd time watching it. I almost forgot just how fucking incredible this movie is. So many subtle things you pick up on the 2nd time through is making it that much better.

For a movie missing so much about what I like about films, it was great. Don't think I'd ever watch it again though.

Now I can start my 90's week. Gonna watch a few big films from the decade that I've yet to seen.

          The Silence of the Lambs
          Reservoir Dogs
          Schindler's List
          The Usual Suspects
          Trainspotting
          Fargo
          L.A. confidential
          Saving Private Ryan
          The Big Lebowski
          Fight Club

Before anyone tries to flame me(looking at you Palooza), you should know I spend most of my movie time watching old and foreign films. So yeah... that's my excuse.

Watched 30 Minutes or Less. Solid buddy-action film with plenty of good jokes.

No flaming other than how the fuck have you not seen ANY of these yet?

That reminds me, I should re-watch all of these.

His list and and him saying he hasnt seen any of those makes me feel old.

I watched Cedar Rapids. I was expecting some huge epic comedy, as the trailers made it out to be a year ago or so. It was just ok, kinda funny, but not what I expected and I was let down a bit. But it was still a ok movie though.

District 9 - started off great, got a little too action-y (i'm not a big explosions/guns/action guy) for me towards the end. Liked it more than I though I would.

Laugh, Clown, Laugh - This was a 1928 silent movie starring Lon Chaney as a clown who adopts and orphan, then falls in love with her when she grows some tits. It was really weird. Typical horrendous acting that you get with anything pre-1970's, but this movie was so bizarre that it actually held my attention for the entire 80 minutes. Great ending.

Watched LA Confidential for the first time. I laughed a lot, but it's a great movie.

Pointless and a little predictable. The whole time I kept thinking "why should I care about this?"

The director said the movie was "Double Indemnity meets Rashomon", lol at comparing this to those 2 masterpieces.
