Another Earth - Surprisingly captivating and thought provoking long after watching it. At first...didn't really dig the storyline between the John and Rhoda, but the more time passes from the movie, the more I appreciate it.
The entire "Earth 2" plot was done fantastically.
Surprise film of the year, so far, for me. Well done.
Need to stop stalling on the rest of Fellini's stuff.
Been meaning to see this forever.

Not a fan of most of his American movies, but I thought this was one of his better ones. Not one of his overall better movies, mind you, just one of his better American flicks.
Not nearly as good as the original, which I loved, but it had it's moments and it benefited from a bigger budget.
I had heard pretty much only good things, but I did not enjoy it much at all. Felt like it was stuck between being entertainingly campy but it wasn't really genuinely scary either.
This is the kind of movie I wish I could watch again for the first time...
Contraband - Unoriginal...kinda corny...insanely predictable...but entertaining. I turned my mind off for 1h50m and was mind numbingly entertained by Marky Mark despite the movie being rather hokey.
Taxi Driver has been on a lot for the last 2 weeks or so. I usually watch at least 30 mins of it whenever I see it on, glad because I didn't like it that much the first time I saw it. Grew on me though.
Fantastic movie, but Elias' death scene made me misty / 10
Robocop 2, Another 48 Hrs.
Actually pretty decent sequels / 10
"Sometimes I just want to be with my family and watch movie and eat some popcorn. But when I step on the mat I know there is no other place I'd rather be." - Marcelo Garcia
It kept me interested. I wouldn't suggest going out of your way to see it, but if its on its a fine watch. It could be considered a bit "dry" with the lack of action or dialogue through most of the movie.
