At least in Valentine's Day, Jessica Biel had some help from Emma Roberts and Jennifer Garner. In New Year's Eve her support was Katherine Heigl and Sarah Jessica Parker. Yikes! Talk about a recipe for disaster.

Really good writing. The good cop bad cop routine between James Stewart and John Wayne was great. I would've gave it a perfect 10, but it was 30 minutes too long.

Sandler's been in a real slump for a long time, this one had its moments, but clearly Sandler needs to stop being a controlling prick and let someone tell him when he's being too stupid ... even for his audience.
That said, That's My Boy had its moments.

I sat through the entire thing, so clearly I am a moron. I couldn't even sit through a Sandler movie with Brooklyn Decker and Jennifer Aniston, so I clearly must also be gay or something.

I actually didn't mind that one.

The only two Adam Sandler movies I like completely are Happy Gilmore and The Waterboy. Yes, I agree both are incredibly stupid ... but they're also entertaining. Sandler is caught in the trap of trying to do the same thing every movie.

Finally watched Gangs of New York. Awesome movie, the length wasn't an issue since the previous two movies I saw were Django and Zero Dark Thirty. Watched Argo after that.

I don't think it's the same quality as City Lights or The Great Dictator put still pretty dang good. Whoever scored it is a genius.


Planning on watching The Kid next weekend.
