About as stupid as someone who constantly complains about the show yet still continues to watch it every Sunday. Makes a lot of sense to me.

There are 168 hours in a week. I can waste 42 minutes on a shitty show that should be good just to put idiots who think it's the greatest piece of television ever in their place.

You act like I bash the show just to bash the show. I want it to be good, but it's not. I'm being honest, not pretending to like it because everyone else does.

edit - You should't be allowed in the Studio if you don't know that a picture of the Fonz in water skis means "jumping the shark". LET ME GUESS, YOU ARE SAYING THE SHOW JUMPED THE SHARK?! Yes, that's why he posted a picture of Fonz on his way to jumping a shark.

So again, you call me stupid for actually watching and liking the show (most of the time), but find it perfectly sensible for you to hate the show, yet waste time to watch it? That's really putting those who like the show in their place lol. And you don't like the show, so be it. Some people do. Didn't know your opinion was the end of all things because you have a movie thread voicing your opinion. (that I actually like btw)

Also, I know what the hell the picture means. Obviously you're too stupid (no i dont think you are stupid, just playing off your words) to get the sarcasm. He's posted that he thought the show has "jumped the shark" the last 3 episodes so I was being funny.

Even if you don't like the Walking Dead, it has become one of the rare "event" shows that you kind of have to watch regardless of your opinion of the quality. Everyone at my work watches it and talks about it. I love being one of the few that kind of shits on its flaws while they all masturbate over it.

That's nothing, ramsjackson thought the show jumped the shark 3 weeks before it even started and he's still watching. .

Ravin is spot on with the jumping the shark timing. I didn't care about the show, so like most people I read spoilers concerning it. Seems like the general consensus was "yes the farm sucks, but wait until the jail, governor, and black chick with swords comes and the show will pick up." Well, here we are...

How is the jail arc any better than the farm one?

That is the EXACT thing I was told while I was catching up. I'm in season one, and my friend is saying "wait till they get to the farm, it is boring." I'll take the farm story back over this shit.

This shit between Rick and the Guvnah is just so stupid on TV. It probably works better in words, but on TV, you are just like "would you two bitches just get along and go pawn the dead instead of each other."

My friend is completely in love with the show because she loves zombie stuff, and read the first two seasons of the comics so it is one of those "OMG I <3 this so much~!!"
All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.

                  "rammer" and "cummings"

The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.

They're really pussy footing around making the governor the evil character he really is. Not sure if the show has the balls to do a couple of the things he does in the comic.

You know how it faded back in from commercial to see someone stumbling - and it turned out to be the walker Andrea was trying to catch? I was literally surprised that it was a zombie. I hadnt seen one the entire episode and im pretty sure that scene was like 35 minutes into the show or something.

I am really tired of the morality arguments. This is not a topic I care to explore any further. It is the zombie apocalypse. modern societies morality / social structures / attitudes are completely irrelevent. it's kill or be killed or become a zombie.

That being said, I loved the episode previous to this one, it seems like they rotate actually trying to make the show cool. Like they've got a cool story but they draw it out too much and they hire stoned 16 year olds to write the filler. (what if like... there was a baby man? like a real fuckin baby. it could like, restore the universe, the power of youth, of LOVE!!! WE WILL REMIND THESE PEOPLE THAT THE HUMAN SPIRIT ENDURES! YEAH MAN! YOU DONT EVEN GOTTA ASK IF I WANT ANOTHER BOWL!). Maggie healing herself with the baby after her non rape trauma was so cliche I half expected her to start dancing Gangnam Style afterwards cracking "that's what she said" jokes.

I'm not giving up on it yet, there are still moments of awesome, but they squandered arguably the best character of the comic books and i can't argue with the farm comparisons.

I tried to google some articles but dont have alot of time to spend on that - but Mazzara was definitely talking about the Prison being an arc that continued into the 4th season. I really doubt the Governor gets killed by the end of the season - i'm expecting an obligatory cliffhanger and no resolution to it within the first 3 or 4 episodes of season 4, but hopefully showrunner number 3 is the charm and we can finally get a good zombie TV show ; if TWD was simply live action re-enactments of L4D levels, if it was just people mowing down zombies and feeding token black guys to them, it would be just as wildly successful if not moreso.

Im on disc 3 of Season 2. I enjoy the show, I hooked, it has its ups and downs (like any show).

What sucks is my wife is watching it with me and she can only watch it during the day because she has fucked up dreams if she watches right before bed. IDK something about her being 6months pregnant
