This is the only one I've liked... Because it reminds me of Ray Donovan.Comment

Either way, nerds are the worst, and somehow, comic book nerds are even worse than the worst, so yeah. Again, Snyder is the biggest negative here. Affleck will be fine if the script is okay and the direction isn't shitty.Comment

Nobody notices the fact that article was written on April Fools day like 5 years after the fact?Comment

Either way, that is something I wouldn't be surprised that Dustin Rowles (known retard) seriously wrote/thought at some point in his "career"
edit - also lol at you acting like 100 people replied thinking it was legit.Comment

The guy is in a costume and talks in a silly voice for half of the movie, the other half he's in a suit and doesn't really say much at all.
It's all about directing.
Plus, Affleck doesn't look half bad in a suit.

It's not that I think he's terrible, but he has a pretty spotty track record and he has some weaknesses as a film maker that have hurt most of his films. I enjoyed 300 and Watchmen quite a bit, own them both, but the same issues were there for me. He's got a weakness for over indulgence and sometimes it borders into cartoonishness. Sucker Punch was probably the biggest example of this, but anyway I just think it's dangerous to let him handle a project like Batman which requires very delicate control of tone without coming across as either too self-serious or too campy.Comment

Up until The Walking Dead I thought any project featuring zombies automatically came with a level of watch-ability, but being proved wrong I have to give him credit for Dawn of the Dead.
I do suggest that one watch the Bob Dylan/Jimi Hendrix parts of Watchmen. Other than that, everything else he's done has been really passable. None of it even gets close to a "top 10 movies of the year" list. And he's had some good ideas/concepts to work with.Comment

I thought watchmen was forgettable and sucker punch miserable buy they were both beautiful movies.
Haven't seen Crapperman of steel but this is a battle movie not an origin movie. He's not rebuilding anything. I figure a good writer and good screenplay and all he has to do is make these fight scenes Famazing and it'll be good.Best reason to have a license.

Dawn of the Dead was a great zombie movie but it would be a terrible Batman film.Comment

Watchmen is easily one of the greatest comic book movies ever. Only gripe with that movie was the prolonged/awkward sex scene, and the fact that they sorta missed some details on Dr. Manhattan's origin. Other than that the flick was flawless. Snyder definitely has the goods, I think if Affleck is 100% behind this we could have a pretty awesome movie.Comment

For Ben Affleck, all the hate is the best thing that could happen for him. Set expectations low because "fuck you" is always better than "i told you so".
If it's good, then cool I like good movies.
If it sucks, then oh well; a lot of movies suck.Comment
