My post was 100% serious, ok well Anchorman was trolling, but Talladega Nights is atrocious. Bridesmaids is somewhat funny, but everyone overrates the shit out of it. It wasn't THAT funny.


And only reason I'm not serious about Anchorman is because it has been a very long time since I've seen it and I've only seen it once.

Exactly, I don't think Bridesmaids is a bad movie (I think T. Nights is), it is just everyone overrated it. Not even my favorite comedy that I've seen this year.

Bridesmaids it the best comedy of 2011. It is a weak year for them, but it still stands at the top.

As I've said a million times before, the airplane scene may be one of the funniest moments in comedic film history.

I completely disagree. I found Horrible Bosses way funnier than Bridesmaids. I even enjoyed Hall Pass a little more. And I still have Bad Teacher, 50/50, Crazy Stupid Love, and The Sitter to see. And Friends With Benefits. Then we still got Harold & Kumar


Melissa McCarthy is the one who makes Bridesmaids an above average comedy for me, take her out of it and it really wasn't that funny.
