So pumped for the GotG movie. Chris Pratt as Quill is honestly the single best casting job Disney/Marvel has done since Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man. He is going to really be perfect for the role.

As for the Fantastic Four, I'm happy it is going off of the Ultimate universe (which I think is far more interesting than most of the current Marvel universe). Other than that, I've always found the F4 to be kind of boring, so I don't expect the movie to be much different.

It makes no sense other than the appease the PC police who constantly harp about there not being enough black superheroes. Sorry that most of these properties were created in the 60s.

So you don't think it had nothing to do with the fact that they really liked Michael B Jordan and think hes a talented and capable actor?

Who really gives a shit? He's a good actor and I think he'll be able to play the cocky super hero a lot better than some token white guy. There is nothing that has to be white about the FF. Sure, Sue and Johnny are brother and sister, but in this day and age that doesn't really mean anything. Explained away with a sentence about how they come from mixed parents or adoption or any number of other possibilities

I don't think it matters other than I would expect Sue & Johnny to be of the same race. That said, you make a good point. I'm curious to see how they'll explain it...

but that's all I'm really curious about. Not excited about the rest of that cast.

Edgar Wright's Ant-Man has targeted "House of Cards" star Corey Stoll for a mystery role in the upcoming Marvel Studios film, Variety reports. He'll join Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas for the July 17, 2015 release with Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Patrick Wilson also still in talks to form the cast.

Set to begin production shortly in Georgia, Ant-Man will be directed by Wright, who co-wrote the script with Joe Cornish (Attack the Block).

Stoll is also well known for big screen roles in projects like The Bourne Legacy, Salt and Midnight in Paris.

The film, which is supposed to launch "Phase Three" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, will follow Avengers: Age of Ultron's May 1, 2015 release.

Not feeling Guardians of the Galaxy...why not use the original 70's version? That was cooler.

Fantastic Four? Sounds like they're going to screw it up again.
