yeah no doubt about that. Manny Ramirez protecting him also helped.

Union general counsel Michael Weiner, left, said the MLBPA couldn't tell Ortiz if he had tested positive, only that he was on the 2003 list.

      wtf does that mean?

i think it's positive he is on the list, but it's not positive if he actually did steroids.

We got a series against Texas coming up so that could be a very important series, but

a lot depends on how Wakefield and Dice-K(Dice-K is further away from coming back) can pitch when they come off the DL. If Wakefield can pitch like he was in the first half and Dice-K can resemble something close to how he was in 07 or 08 I think the sox rotation could be in pretty good shape.

A-Rod will disappear in the post-season like usual. Strike out after strike out.

Alex Rodriguez has 110 post season plate apperances with Yankees and 22 Ks. So about 5 PA per strikeout.

                    The lord and savior Derek Jeter 562 PAs...96 ks - 5.84 PA/K

Do people honestly just invent stuff to hate A-Rod about?? No he hasn't been the greatest playoff performer, but god damn...

They're all man-crushing on him so bad, and the fact that he's a Yankee plus being the highest paid ballplayer just adds to their crush, he's also banging Kate Hudson' brains out. It would've been the exact same thing if Pujols wore pinstripes. Embrace him, don't hate him.

                      What a bunch of bitches.

The redsox are in alot of trouble besides Beckett and Lester they don't have any good starters behind that, so when lester and beckett pitch they have to win those games.

Clay Buccholz pitched pretty damn well yesterday & the scary thing is - he'll only get better.
