yeah no doubt about that. Manny Ramirez protecting him also helped.

a lot depends on how Wakefield and Dice-K(Dice-K is further away from coming back) can pitch when they come off the DL. If Wakefield can pitch like he was in the first half and Dice-K can resemble something close to how he was in 07 or 08 I think the sox rotation could be in pretty good shape.Comment

The lord and savior Derek Jeter 562 PAs...96 ks - 5.84 PA/K
Do people honestly just invent stuff to hate A-Rod about?? No he hasn't been the greatest playoff performer, but god damn...Last edited by FedEx227; 08-09-2009, 12:47 AM.Comment

Alex Rodriguez has 110 post season plate apperances with Yankees and 22 Ks. So about 5 PA per strikeout.

They're all man-crushing on him so bad, and the fact that he's a Yankee plus being the highest paid ballplayer just adds to their crush, he's also banging Kate Hudson' brains out. It would've been the exact same thing if Pujols wore pinstripes. Embrace him, don't hate him.
What a bunch of bitches.Last edited by Anthony; 08-09-2009, 08:38 AM.Comment

Late & Close are PA in the 7th or later with the batting team tied, ahead by one, or the tying run at least on deck.
