HOLY SHIT....Braves were down 6-1, grabbed three runs in the 8th off of a Wes Helms error...Nunez comes in for the save an inning later, and then the late game magic began.
Here's the sequence:
- Conrad walks in 4 pitches
- Diaz hits a two-run bomb to right to tie the game
- Prado, Heyward are retired
- Brian McCann rips a liner over the wall, initially ruled a double, but proven to be the game winning HR after replay.
- Braves win 7-6 by scoring six runs in the final two innings.
Conclusion:
This fucking team never dies. I have lost track of how many last AB wins we've gotten this year, but it's nearing 30.
Sorry, Philadelphia, we ain't going nowhere.Comment

The Braves never fail to clownstomp the Mets at home. I must admit I had to laugh a little bit when they said that Oliver Perez hadn't been used in 29 days and is owed $12 million for next year.
Then he served up a meatball to B-Mac, who absolutely obliterated it. Might have beeen Brian's biggest shot of the season. Frenchy didn't even move once it was hit.Comment

Braves are already 3-0, Heyward hit the hardest ball I've ever seen and Prado ripped a double. When will teams learn that you can't sneak a high fastball past Martin Prado?
Oh well, let's keep the skulffucking going. Has anyone noticed that no Mets fans ever post in this thread? LOLComment

Jesus the Mets are just ass terrible. The Braves are absolutely shelling Pelfrey.
At least the Phils won. This years playoffs are gonna be pretty sweet, as I think both the Phils and the Braves get in regardless of who wins the East.Comment

Make that 4-0. Infante and Heyward are each 2-2. They've been impossibly hot lately.
Heyward hit a screamer to left field that rolled from third base to the warning track in .5 seconds.
The dude hits it harder than anyone in baseball. That is a fact.Comment
