Reds blow it, big fucking suprise, this team just couldn't win games against real opponents all season..Comment

you know what bothers me almost as much as the fact that this team had the best fielding all year and when it mattered the most they tanked.... the fact that Scott Rolen has been a complete waste of space at the plate, not exactly the guy you want to have in the 4 hole the way he has looked at the plate in these two games.Comment

first guy got on by getting hit. so then he had added pressure of piching with runners on which he has struggled, plus being a 22 year old kid you know it couldn't have helped his concentration and then the errors. either way the series is exactly as i expected the Reds just aren't good enough.Comment

oh and not that I needed another reason, but it just goes to solidify the fact that I hate every single sports team in the entire state of Pennsylvania (other than maybe the Pitt Panthers)Comment

HBP
Howard K's
Werth reaches on FC
Bruce drops a fly ball
INNING SHOULD BE OVER RIGHT HERE, CHAPMAN DID HIS JOB
Ibanez singles
Ruiz grounds out
Sweeney bloops a hit
Yeah, you guys really rocked Chapman. I'm sure he'll never recover from such a devastating beating.
In fact, the Philles "hit" nobody tonight. The Reds gift wrapped nearly every run:
-5th inning: Reds make 2 consecutive errors with 2 outs, Utley singles in two unearned runs.
-6th inning: BB, BB, HBP, HBP, BB, run scores.
-7th inning: HBP, K, FC, dropped fly ball/error on throw, 2 runs score. 3rd run scores on groudout. All runs unearned.
-8th inning: Werth drives in a run on a bleeder, which amounted to the closest thing Philly had to a rally all night.
Philly didnt "hit" anyone, they didn't "break" Chapman, they scored 7 runs (5 unearned) on the back of 4 errors, 3 HBP, and multiple BB's. The Reds played like shit and gift wrapped this one, the Phillies better have a few more no hitters left in them this postseason if this was their idea of offense.Comment
