Man I feel bad for Red fans their team went from HOT FIRE to HOT GARBAGE! I mean anyone that watched the MLB this year knew they were the worst "playoff" team to make it... Shit the Padres were defentley better and that's pretty much saying nothing about the Reds. It's sad they played probably the best NL team ever assembled in the last 25 years!

On top of everything else, Chase Utley pretty much admitted that the Chapman pitch didn't hit him.

      Again, disgusting.

        On an 0-2 count nonetheless.

          Bruce drops a fly ball

INNING SHOULD BE OVER RIGHT HERE, CHAPMAN DID HIS JOB

          Ibanez singles
          Ruiz grounds out
          Sweeney bloops a hit

Yeah, you guys really rocked Chapman. I'm sure he'll never recover from such a devastating beating.

In fact, the Philles "hit" nobody tonight. The Reds gift wrapped nearly every run:

-5th inning: Reds make 2 consecutive errors with 2 outs, Utley singles in two unearned runs.

-6th inning: BB, BB, HBP, HBP, BB, run scores.

-7th inning: HBP, K, FC, dropped fly ball/error on throw, 2 runs score. 3rd run scores on groudout. All runs unearned.

-8th inning: Werth drives in a run on a bleeder, which amounted to the closest thing Philly had to a rally all night.

Philly didnt "hit" anyone, they didn't "break" Chapman, they scored 7 runs (5 unearned) on the back of 4 errors, 3 HBP, and multiple BB's. The Reds played like shit and gift wrapped this one, the Phillies better have a few more no hitters left in them this postseason if this was their idea of offense.
Wtf I thought you were a Cards fan... It's disgusting at how much you are passive agressivley rooting for the Reds.

They absolutely / literally whopped the shit out of your team...

Disgusting how bad the NL Central was...

As far as I can read there's 2 hits given up by Chapman. Singles/bloopers hits are hits and apparently you can get the bat on Chapman's pitches atleast twice in an inning. Everyone can make the arguments if not for the errors the innings would be over and blah blah blah. Hell I could say the same about the 2nd inning because of Chase's 2 errors, but you guys hit, stayed on base error or not and then drove those runs in.

Utley pulled a Jeter, Werth made it safe, Howard hacked and lost, Rollins hacked and got lucky, Ibanez hit, Chooch brough Jroll home and Sweeney had a hit.

Phils had 8 hits tonight and 2 are credited to Chapman at the end of the day, yea so we hit him.

It shouldn't have come down to getting lucky against Chapman anyway, we had lead off hitters on based almost every inning and couldn't bring them home, inspite of Arroyo laboring through 6 innings and throwing 100 some pitches.

Playoffs about pitching anyway, if we have to scratch out runs the Phils will do it, we don't worry about getting no-hitters. Maybe the reds should worry about throwing the ball to first in time and not losing fly balls in the towels *cough* lights.

Phillies are up 2-0. At this point in this year, I don't give a fuck if it was pretty, ugly, they deserved to win, didn't deserve to win or whatever. We're up 2-0 and one win away from the NLCS. Like Lenny Dykstra once said: "Whatever it takes, dude".

That said, that was one ugly win, lol.

PS - LOL @ the fans in RF chanting "Thank you Bruce" after his error.

W2B has always been a Reds fan, atleast as long as i have been posting wth him, which not only dates back to when both Kurt Warner and Issac Bruce were still in the league, but also on the same team.

OK, you're a delusional, rose colored glasses guy. I understand your gimmick now. That game was gift wrapped in a tiny bow, and the Phillies had no business winning it, but the Reds played like shit and deserve what they got, which is down 2-0.

Champman went out and did his job, they didn't catch the ball behind him. Those two hits had no consequence, they came after the two unearned runs on the misplayed fly ball. Phillies scored on a HBP that really wasnt, a K, a FC on a bad decision by Rolen on a dribbler, a dropped fly ball, and a ground out. C'mon guy, talking smack about Chapman is the wrong way to go when you have plenty of other targets.

When I say "disgusting", btw, I am refering to the Reds sloppy play. Not sour grapes, not pushing the idea they are being robbed. They catch the ball, they win. It's pathetic.

Gotta be frustrating for Reds fans when your team is supposed to be the best offense and fielding team in the NL and in 2 games they've been no hit in Game 1 and commit 4 errors in a Game 2 loss.

you would think, but those of us who watched this team all year knows that they got it by beating all the teams with Losing Records. when it came time to face an Ace or a team with more than one Ace, they just didn't have it. So really it is upsetting for those of us who hate to lose, but not disapointing because it really was to be expected.

                        Yup.

I can live with the no hitter, because the guy pitched a great game and you don't expect to beat hm anyway. But last night is incredibly frustrating, because the Reds played totally out of character and choked away a game defensively, when that hasn't happened all year.

Instead of being in great shape and only needing a split at home to at worst face a game 5, now they have to work a minor miracle. Id rather lose 10-0 and get pounded than lose like they did last night.
