Ahhh don't hate APPRECIATE! I know you are probably a fan of that lucky/shitty Reds team! Don't be such a Vag because you are just now realizing your 2010 teams season was a "flash in the pan" and they will never (in the near future) compete with the Phillies..... Quit being a bitch and enjoy the fact that the power has shifted to the NL, I mean for Gods sake the NL has the Phillies and a one game winning streak in the all star game ( in the same year) !Comment

Yes. Any sport without a salary cap is a fucking joke. Any sport that can win championships by simply stock piling talent is a fucking joke. This is why football will always be the best sport in the world.
Also why the Giants were the coolest fucking world series championship team ever!!!!
GO PHILS!sigpicComment

How is this a bad thing for baseball? The guy was GOING to get a big payday SOMEWHERE because he earned it. He took LESS money to go where he WANTED to go. Isn't that how we would rather baseball be?Comment

I wouldn't even use a 5th starter if I were Philly. Your rotation is made up of guys who pitch well on short restComment

I don't wanna see any Yankee fans crying over the fact that we didn't get him....Cashman was a fool for offering him 7 years in the first place, wasn't any guarantee he was going to be effective for that many years
He had trouble with his back last year, so that's another thing I was wary of.....those type of injuries tend to flare up again......
Also, I never liked his makeup....tremendous pitcher, but I like my pitchers to have that Roy Halladay type makeup.....I seriously doubt Lee would've been able to handle pitching in a very unforgiving place with a crazed media waiting for you to fuck up so they can blast you for not living up to your contract....
Lee went to the right place IMO.....he loved the Phillies and they love him back......he never wanted to be traded in the first place.....wasn't about lust for him like Cashman showed.....I hate the way Cashman does business sometimes but that is a rant for another day when I suffer through another Burnett meltdown....I'm glad Cashman's cocky ass got humbled....money don't always buy you love
Lee will probably be very successful in Philly and all year I will hear Met fans cry about those fucking Phillies
Couldn't have ended up any betterComment

He's got a track record of showing up there bunch of times wearing the enemy's uni in big games and dominating in that stadium.
