Caps did a good job getting back into the playoff picture and I guess I didn't count the Wizards, though when Nene was on the floor, you had a pretty good product on the floor.

Ideally but I have a feeling they are going to need him in one of those games against TB. It has to be either him or Gonzalez though. Buck knows this...

Bucks gonna pull a move out of left field and let Hammel start the WC. Purely speculation.

I could see it...especially since Buck will have the playoff roster for that one game series loaded with our best relievers. Hammel is the best pitcher on the roster, so if he can go...why not? Whoever starts really will only need to get through 6...maybe even 5, with the lead.

Perhaps Buck will surprise everyone and start Bundy. Wouldn't that be something. I just see Gonzalez and Tillman needing to go in that Rays series and there is no way I'm starting Britton or Saunders in a one and done. But the Yankees lost today and the O's are currently winning so perhaps a miracle will happen and that WC game won't even be a factor for us.

It is a great day but god damn do I feel bad for Brian Roberts and Nick Markakis. I wish those two could be playing in these games after the shit they've been through the past 6-8 years. Hopefully this is just the beginning of a sustained run of good play and playoff appearances...
